Does this shoot in native 24p or do you have to convert? I think the HV20 is the only one out of the series that shoots in a 24p mode, but there's an HV40 for sale on craigslist that I'm thinking of picking up.

great footage. Does the hv40 produce those black bars -in camera or did you apply those in post?
