@muslim9x9x The Renaissance came from rediscovering ancient Greek and Roman manuscripts and architecture, and began around the 1200's in Italy. Spain was reconquered almost 200yrs later.

The Renaisaance is also partly do to the crusades as new materials and ideas were brought back from the middle east who were in a "golden age" of science and mathematics amoung many other things.
