I can pick at higher ground speeds with my 7760 than a friend who has the Case Module Express. Oh he can run just as fast.....but he's leaving a hell of a lot more lint in the field. And I can haul my round modules to the end of the row instead of having to stop in the field and unload it.
The wrap pays for it self in saving cotton quality and 0 ill spell it, ZERO cotton loss on ground, any idiot can stack 4 round bales end to end so a module truck can pick it up, and as far as the gin con.version i dont care i dont own a gin but if they offer to convert it must b good for them as well
the 7760, is gonna cost you a hundred dollars a rap for each roll, and plus another tractor to move the rolls, and the gins have to be modified to take them
All I can say is bring it. I have a 7760 John Deere that will kick it's butt. Can it do over 100 acres a day. No because your having to dead head to the end of the field to dump. The 7760 does not stop. Try again Case.
Not bashing either one, can't afford either one, but where are the green ones. I have seen them, but are they producing any, last I heard 2 years ago, they weren't producing them.
they had one here in clinton nc where I live and a big farmer down the road bought it i believe it was 750,000 i dont like case and now even more after new holland bought them the john deeres better it the only labor there is to do is drive the picker and move the cotton bales hell you can do that when its raining when ya cant pick lol
one man one job its not non-stop harvesting like the John Deere is .Who puts the tarps on ?Who picks up all the loose cotton that falls on the ground?hahaaha
Junk!!!!I seen it up close and personal and its junk!!John Deere way better!!
I work at the John Deere plant that the 7760 cotton picker is built and its pretty impressive.....this not so much.
