Jump in the Fire is an awesome riff too. That whole album is killer. But Phantom Lord, to me, is the quintessential classic thrash metal song.

I did try for some diversity, you see some other guy's lists and its like, half the list is Metallica or some such nonsense. I had to try for unbiasedness and judge riffs based on sheer riffage, I think its silly that I've got three or four songs from Powerslave alone on here but I couldn't help myself!

Hey, this is NGBahamut's new account and I'd like to say that after watching your Top picks for riffs videos, you've inspired me to make my own top riffs sometime. However, I only plan to form a list once I reach 300 CDs, which I'm 60 away from. These videos have been very enjoyable and I have to say that the whole list is very original. :)

I look forward to seeing more videos from you whether they be more MTSLOM, more Top picks or another episode of Most Awesomely Bad Metal Covers. :D
