  • he gives her peanuts. That was a fair trade for a coke.

  • Hello, I have had a few messages about this song; unfortunately it was just a jingle made for the advert rather than a full song. Sung by my father, Neil Lancaster. Sorry I couldn't help more.

  • @nostalgiajunkie70 this is not the song!!!

  • @mikediaz75, I agree....I guess it was just the crooner sound....my mind changes with time sometimes. Even if it was written just for the commercial, it's a wonderful song. And I love the commercial!

  • For all, who want the name of this song:

    The song doesn't exist.

I wrote to fallon in minneapolis. fallon ist the agency, which produced this tv-spot for the coca cola company.

They said, that the music was especially made for this commercial and that this music is unavailable to purchase.

    Sorry, but that's it !

  • I wish I saw this. This is a classic!

  • Wow!

  • OH HELL!

  • where did they shoot this commercial???

  • in thailand on the island "koh phi phi ley" at "maya bay", there where the movie "THE BEACH" was filmed

  • To ipseipse,

I'm glad seein' you know a lot about Thailand, seems you've ever been here before to Phi Phi Island and also did watch the movie The Beach. I bet you like Moby's song " Porcelain ", it's one good shit from the soundtrack album. Wish to see you fly back to pay our beautiful beaches a visit once more.

  • yes i've been there...but it was disappointing...the beach has been so violated by tourism that it is not worth to go there anymore...but your country offers so much more that it is always worth to visit thailand (except phuket, koh samui and pattaya)...and NO i dont like porcelain or moby in general...

  • WOW Amazing. :D

  • My Dad sings this commercial, his name is Neil Lancaster :-) Katie

  • Whats the name of the song?

  • Katie, whats the name of the song?

  • Hi. Finally I have some news, not necessarily what you want to hear though. There was no full length song made it was just a jingle dad sang for the advert. Thanks. Katie

  • @Kt68Kt68 hello my friend, what is the name of this song????

  • @Kt68Kt68 Beautiful voice!!

  • @Kt68Kt68

His voice makes this commercial so memorable. Love his voice!

  • This is definitely not Jamaica - I think it's the same location that The Beach featuring Leo was filmed at. Somewhere in Thailand I believe.

  • Definitely in Asia. The elephant was local.

  • fyi, i got told the ad was shot in a bay jamaica.

(i've been there, it was incredibly beautiful!)

  • that coke looks amazing

  • The backstory of this ad is that the shooting was delayed a day and the elephant had to come back on a saturday. The owner said that the elephant didn't work weekends. They tripled the fee but the elephant was a forced to be feared during filming. The elephant was mad he had to work on his day off.

  • I remember this ad (because it's so memorable). Thanks for posting it!
