and dont bring up the AK is for counter terrorism and Insas is for conventional war, is by conventional war you mean fighting villagers with handmade rifles, then yes Insas is totally suitable for conventional warfare.

Conventionable warfare doesnt mean that DRDO can cook up any shit and sell it as top grade.

Conventional rifles are more like an SLR or M16 which offer more accuracy and range over Guns like AK and Famas, unlike the Insas which has nothing going for it.

one of the worst rifles ever made, there is no excuse for it . if anyone has actually talked to aCRPF or army soldier he/she would know that the vast majority of soldiers prefer a SLR rifle over an Insas

Damage-debatable but Insas has smaller ammo

Accuracy-Ak 47 and its modern indian variants own the Insas.

So please tell me, why would any soldier choose Insas over AK? seems the only good use of insas is to use it as a lathi.
