  • What?! Is this a game or is this real life (because of the numbers in the display)...

  • what number was the engine

  • At 2:05, that;s where I got my video of the RBBB circus train going north to LA

  • i WISSH i KNNNNNNNNNEW WERE THE RIDE WAS TAKEN WAS IIIIIIT AUTHORISED?/BUT WHAT WERE THE NUMBERS ONTHE WINDSHIELD? i ASUME THE TOP GREEN WAS THE SPEED NOT OVER 59 AND THE WHITEONE MOSTLY 70 AND WE WAS IIT WAS IT SOUTH OF OCIANAINSSIDE/ AND i WWWAS SURPRISED IT IS SIGLE TRACK THAT MUTCHH WITH ALLTHOSE TINS TRUE THERE IS LITTLE FRAIGHT AND i ASUME IT GOES AT NIGHT

  • Very well done. I'm afraid I didn't watch it all bcuz MY STUPID COMPUTER IS SO SLOW AND FUCKING LAGGY. I'll watch it some other time when my computer is faster but that seriously it loox like a really cool vid man. Ur lucky u live in Southern California. I live in crappy old Northern CA where it's not as hot, WAY too many mountains, but there's good train action up here. But no joke, I wish I lived down there.

  • AMAZING!!!

    Fantastic Video !!!

    I Love California !!!

  • What's green over red?

  • @secret1service Clear, switch is set to main track (note the switch at the end).

  • @secret1service 1 track is not availible and the other is.

  • dash cam?

  • what's with all the bell and horn, i only saw one grade crossing

  • What's with those numbers and the word "clear stuf on the right. Is it HUD or how are they displayed there.?

  • Fake voices?

The camera should have been better shock mounted ot mounted on gyro stabilizer.

  • Hmm, I wonder if this is the video I paid for but never received because the company went bankrupt...

  • man the engineers on this line must be on the edge of their seat with all the people crossing wereever they feel like!

  • Wow one Awesome Ride. Thanks Great job.

  • It sounds lika a class 66!!

  • @Trainhobby98 Well spotted it does sound like the 66

  • how much is the dvd?

  • Excellent showing of the Pacific Surfline! (former Southern Pacific territory)

Wouldn't mind working that job every day. Surf's Up!

    PJH- Tunnelmotor

  • @tmotorman the surfline route to LA to San Diego is the old Santa Fe line, heading NORTH is the old SP line

  • 5 stars but what is that annoying metallic clacking sound?

  • The Automatic Bell that sounds off when he blows the horn. He has the option of turning it off if he wants but he's not doing it because of the highly populated area he's in. Basically so people hear the train coming.

  • The Bell.

  • do they show more of the cab or is that it?

  • I don't think you see the cab at all here, this looks to be a video of a TV screen playing the DVD?

  • How did you get a cab ride? Is that available to the public?

The crossing at 1:40 was Calafia Beach, I go there a lot. :-) Great video. 5/5!

  • Yes it's available at Train Video Depot. Do a search and you'll find it easily.

We sell train related videos from about 30 different producers. I don't know how they got access on this one. But it is one of our best selling cab ride DVD's.

  • Oh, cool! I should try that sometime. Thank you for the info!

    :-)

  • i wish it was

  • Our family is going to Disneyland for the first time. If we take the "surfliner" from anaheim to Sadn diego, does it ride down the entire coast like in this video?

    How cool that would be!

  • Fun, At San Juan Capistrano it heads west and goes along the beach for a number of miles.

But then goes inland to San Diego.

    Fun ride.

"clacking sound" is poor audio of the bell being rung through the beach area.

  • @bigfootrsbuddy123 become friends with an engineer!!! I got a cab ride once on this same track. was fucken awesome. I was a little kid

  • awesome video i like the cab ride dvd

  • awespme video

  • Yes this was shot from the cab of an F59PHI

  • Actually, I meant the number, sorry.

  • Oh. Not sure, but there is a tour of the entire locomotive, and that is of #462.

  • Do you know what engine this was recorded in?
