everyone can do it only few can make the music. You could be at this stage if you set your mind to practicing about 2 to 4 hrs a day 7 days a week. I have been playing for 17 years and still cant play like I should.

When you play for hours of downstrokes your wrist starts to hate you, it feels more natural to alternate and I merely hear a difference in the sound. My amp is garbage you wouldn't hear the difference either, so yeah whatever

This was recorded a year ago with a 40 years old amp and a crappy camera, I agree I should get a better mic, but what can I say I'm not a rich man, and I do play it better now. Plus you might consider being constructive next time you post a comment.

Haha, nah man sorry - pretty good, you should palm mute and downpick though. Gives a more crunchy, heavy tone.

Not getting the harmonics right is no excuse for not doing the solo ;) If you can't manage that's one thing, but dont blame it on other things. I'd love to see you play it. Between 2/5 and 3/5... Since I'm in a good mood today I'll give you 3/5, :)

I've learned it all the way through (except solos LOL) with downstrokes. This very slow alternate picking makes the main riff only more difficult to play IMO.

So far it's definetly worth it. I was playing a gibson before I buy this one, but it didn't really suited the music I wanted to play. Palm muting is a bit harder because of the floyd rose, but other than that it's perfect for metal/rock music in my humble opinion ^^
