  • @piro229 WOW, that was fantastic, thank you, I just finished listening. I've only just discovered this great old legend. I found him while watching John lee Hooker & Bonnie Raitt playing "I'm in the mood"

  • @mugsyjeff you are welcome.the all LP is very good.By the way last nigth I also found ego rock with J.W.+J.J. and beeing also a fan of Janis it was a pleasure to see them together.VERY RARE.i see you like J.L.H. well serch for Big Mama Thorton,John L.H.,Big Walter Horton and Dr.Ross all playing harmonica historically interesting.Serching that you may also find ELMORE JAMES the old king of slide guitar ..lissen Dust My Broom, you will recon from who Johnny Winter was inspyred . have a

  • Really great to see Johnny getting back to his old self after so long in the wilderness. All of Johnny's fans owe a debt of gratitude to his newest manager & friend Paul Nelson for helping the great man to get back to where he belongs, on top! Thank you for all of the years of enjoyment Johnny, you really are a hero

  • Being albino and as old as he is he's made it this long. He has his bad days. I seen him in 06, and he could hardly play or walk.

  • What people who've never seen J.W. live don't get is this: Yes, his guitar skills are not even half of what they once were. BUT.... even a greatly diminished Johnny Winter is waaaay better than most other players. I saw him 3 years ago at a local blues fest and was quite surprised how ass-kickin' good 'ol Johnny still is! A live Johny Winter concert has to be experienced to be apprectiated.

  • He is the best :) Comming to Houston Feb. the 3rd. LOOK OUT HOUSTON :)

  • wow johnny's looking, sounding and playing so much better than last I saw him in the summer of 2009. He's actually got his finger dexterity back and he's tearing it up here.

  • @TheHighwayRider I've been married to my husband Jim or over 20 years now, and I'm ashamed to say that I just started going to JW concerts with him a coupla years ago!! Mr. Winter is awesome!!

  • Johnny is still JAMMIN and I LOVE IT - GOD BLESS HIM and all of us that enjoy his MUSIC!!!

  • WHOA! Johnny is still smokin'

And I'm happy he if off methadone and seems to have gained some healthy weight. look at a picture of him in 2009 and 2011, HUGE difference,

  • Amazing!!!!

I love JW - h elooks so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He comes to Norway in September, catn't wait!!

Man - fantastic video, what a vitamine injection!!

  • BESIDES........'JIMI'. Johnny Winter was the fucking Quickest!!!!!! We "ALL" must get old, & it hurts me to see Johnny, slowing down a bit!! A bit upsetting, because I've seen Johnny Winter "ON TOP OF HIS GAME, ABOUT, 12 TIMES"!!!!!!!!!! i lOVE hIM SOOOOOOOO FUCKENE MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Johnny todavia lo tiene !!

  • hmmm ... its painful to see him like this. Still gifted since that´s for life, but his playing is far from what it used to be.

  • Johnny is comming to minnesota WOW I get to see him again.. YAHOO

  • A MI ME GUSTA DISFRUTAR DE UN TIPO QUE TIENE MAS DE 70 Y SIGUE TOCANDO CON EL ALMA LO QUE EL CREO JUNTO A OTROS MUSICOS DE BLUES !! YO NO SE SI A ESA EDAD ALGUIEN ESTARA HACIENDO LO QUE SIENTE Y GUSTA, O ESTARA ENTREGADO ESPERANDO A LA PARCA EN UN GERIATRICO !!

  • wow i am 53 years old and JOHNNY WINTER IS ROCKING!!! good for HIM

  • seeing him for the first time in Dec, Rock Legends Cruise, Edgar also, and 16 other bands. Should be killer!!

  • The blues experiment goes on. Life is hard and then you die, but you get to hear some fine music. Thanks to Johnny Winter for playing his blues.

  • @chrisb3999 Yes...15 years ago. This is painful to listen to...

  • Thanks for this. I saw Johnny here in Vermont just before the NYC shows. He can still play.

  • real bullshit, probably the worst version of johnny b. goode

  • @MrBlindfinger Your mother likes the whole fist. Not just the blindfinger she likes to SEE the fist coming.

  • @MrBlindfinger Jeez...one other person who actually tells the truth.

  • If i'm alive when he plays BBKing's again, I'll be there!!

  • @Silverbells516 he'll be there september 23 ill be there

  • The previous message was for: @fld1201

  • I think you missed what I said! He was freaking AWEsome!!!! The man could outplay all these little pinhead wannabee's out here! Did anybody tell you if you can't say something kind, don't say anything at ALL? Lord, have mercy!

  • @Silverbells516 I'm afraid YOU misunderstand. All the little pinhead wannabe's CAN outplay Johnny. The old lion lost his roar; the king has no clothes. RIP Johnny...

  • @beeroosterm Dear whalesperm.........u rest in peace. What give u the right? Neverwas!!

  • @Hushpuppy57 YouTube gives me the right, asshole. Wake up and smell the coffee. The King has no clothes.

  • Tarnation, JW...! see you in Cobourg, Ontario...

  • He certainly looks, sounds, and plasy better than he has in recent years. A little more meat on those bones. I sincerely hope Johnny 's on the mend.

  • @wickedneatstuff That's not saying much, considering Johnny plays like a drunken neophyte. It's pathetic. More power to him if he can still fool people into thinking he can play (although this is dishonest). I think the evidence here is conclusive that he is absolutely unable to play. His backup band helps tremendously but there is no mistaking Johnny makes more mistakes than plays correct notes.

  • @beeroosterm Sadly that's true. It's not saying much. Still, I'm glad to see that he appears to be in better health these days.

  • @wickedneatstuff Yes, he is. Frankly, he couldn't have gotten much worse - other than to be in the grave. He needs to retire and rest on his laurels, but there appears to be no chance of that. My guess is that he'll go the same route as Chuck Berry - he'll "play" until he collapses onstage.

  • @dmelick Evidently you suffer from the same senility that Johnny does. Johnny screws up everything horribly. It's over...

  • @beeroosterm there is something that you dont understand here about those old blues players,is that they play till they die,so dont comment things about them beeing finished of what ever, that whole circle of life is part of the blues.they all ending up in a chair one day and then they keep playing till the end.N.B YOU ARE NOT A BLUESMAN,or maybe srv style, witch is no blues to me!

  • @fld1201 I'm not paying to watch Johnny die on stage, nor should he expect me to for my hard-earned money. If he can't play, it's time to hang it up.

  • @beeroosterm He can play better now than you ever will you make me sick coming in here with that troll shit. You are obviously not an older diehard Johnny fan just a turd that probably thinks devo was the shit. Please don't breed. Thankyou, I,m sure the nieghbors cat does too.

  • @Hushpuppy57 Not on your life, asshole. Johnny was my first ever concert in May, 1974 and I've seen him 50 times since; there is no bigger JW fan out there. And anybody who's been playing for a month or two can seriously outplay Johnny now. And I'm no troll - I'm simply (because idiots like yourself require simplicity) stating the facts: the Johnny we knew and loved as a guitar player is long dead and should instead lie back and rest on his well-deserved laurels. Your cat awaits his nightly fuck

  • Is he blind now?

  • he be playin that guitar just like a ringin a bell :)
