Melissa is from my hometown. Aesma Daeva is a great band. I wish she would rejoin them now that she is not in Visions of Atlantis. From what I heard, this show was her last show with them. The new singer joined on and did Artemis, not Melissa. Melissa went to do Visions of Atlantis after this performance and was hired prior to.
John Prassas wrote that song before melissa left the band (this concert was filmed in december 2005) in fact melissa record some demos but well everybody know it...she left so lori was the chosen one to record the album

I wasnt expecting nightwish. She is a very,very ,very good singer, if not one of the best. The thing is her solo album was boring. Some people find aesma daeva boring too, because it is slow. Tarjas solo stuff was slow and very much like aesma, but just felt a bit underdeveloped. It was a nice comeback, but id like to see what she has in store for later albums!

Because a Lyric soprano is someone who easily over powers a orchestra and a Couloratura is someone who is infamous for making runs and leaps in their notes. Also a Lyric is someone with a light voice. :/ Lori and Melissa will be compared no matter how much you don't think they should be, and it is easy to compare them. Get over it, and Lori is better.
