I don't think it's a matter of 'getting them to get along' It's just... sometimes it happens. My 12 year old 90 lb golden retriever is also totally owned by my 10 lb 9 year old little black cat. My two other cats can care less about the dog, and ignore him.

@rai11801 It's easy. You can do it one of two ways. Get them both as babies and raise them at the same time. Or get one as a puppy/kitten and hold it around the dog/cat and anytime the dog/cat tries to get aggressive, flick it, or discipline it some way, and keep going til the other animal gets it. Be sure to keep a safe enough distance though. Don't want one getting so aggressive it gets at the other and... Let's end it there.
