My experience has been that not only is there less racism against blacks in places that have low populations of blacks, but more whites feel a sense of white guilt in those places as well. Why? Because they'll never fully understand how unpleasant it is to live near high concentrations of blacks until they've experienced it. They need to live somewhere like Detroit for a few years (Detroit is over 80% black). Then they'll feel grateful, not guilty about the lack blacks in whitopia.

I have lived in Missoula all of my life, and traveled as well, and missoula is by far the most beautiful place ive ever seen. Bluepastry- you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. it's like you were never there. Every experience I had with UM was terrific, it is as pristine as the video shows it. Boy do they love there griz. And the University praises Native Americans and is actually the only university in the country to have Native American Building, and it is right on the oval. That right there disproves your entire statement.
