I have made a friend recently, who I have become really close with. She has been depressed for years, self harmed, attempted suicide twice, and been struggling with keeping on God's path. She was saved Sunday night at a Super Bowl party with her church, and I was very proud to be able to sit beside her as she went through the commitment with Jesus Christ, her new Lord and Savior. She dedicated this song to me, because I apparently am what brought her to God out of Sin. I'm here for you, Mckenzie

Here is so many people with a broken heart... I've been so desperate and broken myself that I didn't see any hope in tomorrow. But God IS love and he has helped me over everything. To be honest, 'suicide' is often used as attention grabbing tool, but not all of the time. I have a friend that's close to suicidal, and I've been helping him steer away from it. I give those their dues for not commiting suicide, but not my respect. For those who do commit suicide I believe are just weak willed, tbh. But for those who are stressed, CHILL OUT! Life is enjoyable, but sometimes you gotta go through the dark tunnel before you reach the sunny hillside.

but at the same time, bear in mind that you shouldn't expect jesus to do everything for you. This is my opinion, but I think he wants us to learn and grow; to feel pain but to feel love. If everything was good in life, there would be no bad and as humans we would be incomplete. he wants us to make a choice and come towards him out of love, but if you think he will solve everything, that just won't happen. he's always there, but tough times come, live through them. just thought i should add that.

I've tried to commit suicide. It was after I learned I was going to have to move. The only thing that stopped me was my faith in the Lord and the fact that I didn't want to surrender to myself. If you've had suicidal thoughts, don't give up on yourself. Be strong!

If you were a burn victim with, say, almost all of your body burned, you'd be reaching for a gun to end the pain--suicidal people have, for some reason, those burns on their hearts. It's nothing to do with you or anyone near them. It's pain. And yes, those who deal with that pain well deserve respect for it.
