I am planning my next holiday and thinking of travelling with BA and would rather wait in an airport lounge than in the noisy busy terminal. We want to go to Miami if we were to travel with BA we would travel from Heathrow terminal 5 it seems that this is the only airport lounge in terminal 5 is this lounge open to ALL passengers flying in ALL classes or only to those travelling in Business class/First Class? feed back would be appreciated thank you
@tich302001 You either need to hold oneworld/BA status, or be travelling in Club/First to access the Galleries lounges. There are three types of lounge at T5 - Concorde Room for First passengers (and Premiers/Concorde Room Cardholders), Galleries First for oneworld Emerald/BA Gold, and Galleries Club for Club World, Club Europe and oneworld Sapphire/BA Silver.
This video shows the Galleries Club (North) lounge.
This actually the North Lounge at T5 which is just for BA flights It is supposed to be a Domestic Flights lounge but everyone uses it, Oneworld Sapphire and Emerald Card holders from Oneworld Carrier members who are travelling on a BA flight can also use the lounge.
This lounge is for BA passengers only. It is located in Terminal 5, which departs BA flights only. I would imagine that if you are flying Business or First Class with Thai, then there would be facilities in their lounge, or the lounge that they use, where you can take a shower and freshen up.
