  • I think Sean is one of the best teachers I have and a good friend. Merry Christmas to Sean and his family.

  • I was also one of his students. This man was the only teacher that i had who actually was a teacher. I have studied in 3 different universities until now and his course was the only one that changed the way i am thinking. Greetings to Dr.Homer from Stamatis

  • He's such an amazing professor. I'm currently taking a postgraduate course with him and he's such a genius! I used to hate Modernism before this guy came along :-)

  • @Ilshofen

Do you mean you are taking a course with Sean? Are you in Greece? If you see Sean, pls help me say hello to him and to his family. From Cyril

  • @KWPI2009 Yes, I'm lucky enough to have him teach me! I'll see him on Friday, what do you want me to say to him? I'm sure he'll be thrilled! Is he leaving a trail of amazed students behind him?

  • did you mean "Chinese" when you say "cantonese" which is more a dialect?

  • The implication that Zizek's topics are boring -.-

  • ...nor can I think of some influential philosophical or sociological work (except, again, people around ljubljana psychoanalytic school) that had predominant lacanian references...

p.s. if anyone has some different input I would be happy to hear them...

  • just a quick remark... psychoanalytic tradition is not so popular in ex-yugoslavia... exc. for Ljubljana I cannot think of a single institute or school relating to lacanian tradition...
