Yes, it should be finished (Terminal 1) by the time you fly. If it's not, then the airport haven't met their deadline.

excellent, i am flying to mallorca on July 14th.

I think Terminal 2 edges with regards to shops food etc, but lets see what Terminal 1 brings us :).

No, terminal 1 has the largest airside shopping facility out of all of them. Terminal 2 used to have more shops, but due to recent refurbishments, terminal 1 now has more shops, due to the fact that there has been a big change: T1's security has been moved right up next to the check-in area giving the terminal more space, hence more shops. Terminal 2 has also been updated; the security area is now on a new mezzanine level, which means that the concourse which was landside is now airside.

Terminal 1 has more shops despite what has been going on with T1 & T2, due to major rennovations.
