While I love mcr none of your points are valid because ww2 is a common theme for music videos, Katy perry did a ww2 theme of thinking of you, and the jackets are pretty common too. If MCR had a problem with it then they would have said something to the Jonas brothers privately so not to cause a scene.

I don't see what is so dreadfully terrible about having the same theme for a music video. We all have had a pinata at a party or a pool party. Theres nothing wrong with having a strange taste in music i mean i like MCR and The Young Veins (If you listen to them you will realise how different they are)
1. If JB copied MCR for the jackets, then MCR copied beatles. In fact they stated thats the inspiration.

I don't care if they copied them or not but to set the record straight, The Jonas Brothers actually look up to My Chem.
The Jonas Brothers grew up in New Jersey and in their original biography they talked about how they idolized and looked up to My Chem for being an awesome band from NJ. And when My chem headlined Bamboozle in 2007, The Jonas Brothers played a little side stage early in the day and watched them at night. They said they met and said My Chem are great guys.

1. If JB copied MCR for the jackets, then MCR copied beatles. In fact they stated thats the inspiration.
2. The Avril track may sound the same, but both that and MCR's opening are almost variations of your typical graduation day song.
3. The symbol on their arm is a patch signifying a rank. It can be used wherever.
If you think about it, at some point everything is copied. IT's unavoidable. But the sum 41 song is deffinately a blatant ripoff of house of wolves both inst, and vox.

I disagree that JB copied MCR the ideas were unoriginal there for universial. I used to have a MCR look a-like jacket before I ever saw the Black Parade vids/pics and the ghost of you thing... stuff like that really did happen when soldiers went to war and around the time period they refer to any woman would typically look like that it was the style of the time. while the idea is the same I find the chances slim that JB got the idea from MCR or intended to "copy them" in anyway.

They symbolize the soldier's rank.
