  • why dont you do a reveiw on the CLEAN line of perfumes......I would also love to hear your take on egyptian goddess by auricblends

  • Does anyone remember Tatiana by Diane Von Furstenberg? It was named Tatiana after Diane's daughter. It was an all white floral scent. I thought it was beautiful. They still sell it on-line. Katie, you remember that one? It was launched in the 70's but I discovered it later.

  • @peekaboots01 I do remember that it existed, but don't have a notion of what it smells like. And now I do, thanks to you!

  • I like KK Gold better then the original.

  • I can totally smell the nail polish sidekick!

  • Hi, I must say Kim Kardashian ( a.k.a. KK ( is nothing but a $1,000.00 dollar a nite tramp with good teeth and fantastic hair, however more useless than boobs on a garden snake...REALLY ! But, she's famous ( i'm NOT ) for ALL the wrong reasons, but this fragrance does smell good, and I'm surprised. The bottle, nothing very classic about it right, I mean, it's trendy, not classy yet the scent smells old world, it's nice. But, when all said and done, I can't stand her or her MESSED-Up Family.

  • @iluvparfums It's not just the fantasitc hair and good teeth, it's the eyes, tiny waist, booty, legs and complexion. But yeah, she's over the top with all the reality show drama. Old world is good. If it smells old world, I imagine it doesn't smell cheap.

  • LOL PORN STAR. YUP.

  • could you review the new Elie Saab fragrance !!!!

  • hahaha! katie puckrick smells!! And Kim Kardashian is not a porn star how dare you!!

  • @KatiePuckrikSmells ahaha that is very old news...but that doesn't make her porn star. it was one stupid mistake that she regrets

  • @KatiePuckrikSmells I'm pretty sure she's obtained it therefore nobody will be "enjoying" her any longer. Again, everyone makes mistakes. I'm sure my grandparents have and I don't have to know about them let alone see them with my own eyes. Plus, in the future, there probably won't even be DVD players

  • @hinicolex Let's hope so for Kim's sake!

  • "I'm Katie Puckrik.. and I smell." LMMMAAOO

  • I think it smells like farts

  • lol if you say KK in Spanish, it means poop

  • @cepauloar It's so easy to get into linguistic trouble!

  • @KatiePuckrikSmells your videos are awesome Katie! :)

  • I like paris hilton perfumes but lets be honest they smell kinda cheap .. were as kim kardashian's doesn't it smell's like a micheal kors one i love it definatly doesnt smell like "old people" well to me it doesn't anyway :| i don't know what people are smelling when they say it smells "horrible" hmm i love it

  • this stuff smells like Prince Matchabelli New Musk For Women i though they all copied them.

  • I was wanting to buy Kim's perfume since it came out but what I did was..... I waited til after Xmas when the gift boxes go on sale & I bought it. The gift set came wit a smaller bottle & a body lotion. Good thing I waited & didn't pay full price cuz I didn't like the smell of it! It was too floral for me.

  • @ludwigZ06 I absolutely love how you said you were a straight male then said, "just fabulous"

  • it's the exact same thing as the first michael korrs!!

  • @juliaaxox22 They both feature gardenia!

  • Great Video

  • you can buy this from ross the big bottle for like $30

  • @xbrandnewxx good tip!

  • All I got from this fume was gardenia.....huge freaking globs of gardenia!

  • @ilovesmyladygaga any other word to describe the "dont buy this perfume"? was it smell bad?? or am i too obvious..haha

  • @ilovesmyladygaga any other word to describe the "dont buy this perfume"? was it smell bad??

  • do NOT recomend a person getting the large bottle of this. Get a tester, 1.0oz or the rollerball. Another thing this fragrance is HELLA expensive and it is sooo not worth the 50-60 bucks they have it priced at. At the most I would pay 20 or less dollars for KK's fragrance and not even that. She should take some tips from Paris Hilton because her perfumes smell GREAT and also Jessica Simpson's perfumes smell good except Fancy Nights.

  • Ok so I purchased a couple of fragrances from perfumania and they are giving these free Kim Kardashian rollerballs with them. Honestly at first I thought this fragrance reeked and smelled like grape and old people in their 70's or something. But I sprayed it on my skin and let it sit and marinate for an hour or 2 and it started to smell good. The thing is yes her perfume is really strong and old smelling but if you let it sit on your skin marinate and die down it starts to smell good. But I

  • your hard to watch

  • @KatiePuckrickSmells- Hi katie!

    I wana gift a perfume to my gf..shez 19

    wt do u recommend?

  • I actually bought this outright because they didn't have a tester... and returned it! I love Kim Kardashian the person, and think her fashion sense is impecable! I tried this out and all I could smell was grapes and grits! It was just God aweful and honestly, a little boring!

  • @tierfallin Ha-ha: "grapes and grits"!

  • @KatiePuckrikSmells i love Kim Kardashian's perfume, i am a straight male and i wear it! just fabulous

  • @ludwigZ06 Right on.

  • itss smells close in line to women EDP "Black by Kenneth Cole"

  • @sh12430 Good to know!

  • @ilovesmyladygaga Always good to get another opinion!

  • I like the fact that she didn't choose the candy n sugar. I think people are confussed because she apeals mostly to young women who are buying Mariah and Britney perfumes. Also, the bottle is all wrong for the fragrance. Oh well, I think it's nice.

I like Monyette Paris, Michael Kors, and Kai.

    I'm a 38 year old 'elderly woman,' I guess!

  • @Sevipants19 I agree with all your points. The KK frag fits right in with your tuberose perfume profile!

  • Porn star? o_o

  • @vanyahippie You are literally the first person to pick up on the fact that I said that!

  • interesting reading the language of a perfume enthusiast .my girlfriend calls herself a 'frag hag' . she especially likes the one that smells like blood and semen, i smelled it and thought it smelled like a hobo covered in scrap metal. do you know the one im talking about? i think it has a penis on the bottle.

  • @00sven00sven00 Yep, it's called Magnificent Secretions by Etat Libre d'Orange.

  • @KatiePuckrikSmells Thats the one! What do you think of it?

  • @00sven00sven00 I've held off from properly sniffing it, because I've been meaning to do a video on it for about a year. You've just given me the nudge to get it together...

  • @00sven00sven00 Sweet! As repugnant as it is, i couldnt stop smelling it as it reminded me of something i just couldnt put my finger on, intruiging at the very least!

  • @00sven00sven00 Ha-ha "something you just COULDN'T put your finger on" sounds like an apt warning...uh, description of Secretions Magnifique!

  • OMG...the BOTTLE....i luuuuuv the BOTTLE! Lol

But maybe Kim shld hv just opted for a naked lady torso a la J P Gaultier's Le Male...

  • AHHH Juicy Couture! WHYYYY ugh my worst nightmare ever.

  • Me and my sister were at the mall and we visited sephora of the debut of this perfume and to be honest is not a perfume worth buying tho my older sister thought it was alright. I totally love perfume and will go the length to spend money on it if it's worth buying...and this 1 can just stay on the shelf. Till this day I try to smell it maybe it would change my mind and still wished she would have done a better job.

  • can you please do a review of gucci II eau de parfum? thanks!

  • We must have a totally opposite sense of smell because I find KK's edp to be nothing but a slightly cloying, boring, very linear tuberose fragrance. There is nothing pretty or interesting about it. It doesn't smell like Juicy Couture, (which is quite lovely and has layers). If anything, KK smells like a poorly-composed replica of Marc Jacobs. Thankfully, I was able to sell my sample for a modest profit. For the record, I wanted to like KK.

  • Do you think this perfume is similiar to Michael Kors Very Hollywood? I'd love to hear your input about that one! Thanks!

  • @MsMary386 Yes, I think KK has similarities with Very Hollywood, and also with the original Michael Kors. Very Hollywood has a crisp drydown that I didn't expect. It sort of reminds me of the vibe of Chanel Cristalle.

  • @SayitLoud19 I know the fragrance notes are not the same, I'm just saying they smell similar. Whereas both KK and Fracas are more similar in fragrance notes, Fracas is much warmer. KK reminds me of a Lei. I have tried them side-by-side and have even sold them many times to many of my clients whom agree that MK and KK smell alike.

  • @gangurogeisha Hey, I don't think you did quite get it! I thought KK was a good perfume, and said so in my review. And I've reviewed a few celebrity-fronted perfumes (Britney Hidden Fantasy, SJP Lovely) that I think are really good.

  • Comment removed

  • @gangurogeisha Thanks for your input! It's interesting which factors inhibit people's perception of things. And my videos include transcipts or captions, but even still, communication can tricky.

  • ahahahah i love the bottom side bar, katie puckric smells kim kardashian XD

  • @mufiin1 hee-hee!

  • are you feelin ok?

  • OMG NOOOO it's a cheaper copy of Michael Kors and please do not mention Fracas (my favorite fragrance) and KK in the same sentence. This fragrance is Michael Kors all over! Whereas the notes are different they do smell the same. Katie, I do LOVE your CHANNEL!! Thanks for sharing!

  • @missLinee Haha! I feel your distress from here. The linking of KK to Fracas is in the broadest possible sense, to give the newer noses among us a point of comparison. I agree that KK and Michael Kors are closer on the family tree.

  • @missLinee

I have both KK and Michael Kors and they are not similar KK is a floral based on Gardenia and Vanilla Orchird.Flowery and MK is Tuberose and sandalwood they are not the same I think KK is closer to Fracas and Marc Jacobs in that its floral but thats it.If you try them side by side you would see not similar at all.I think KK is a very beautiful fragrance.

  • Great necklace!

  • @muniqueen1 Thanks!

  • If nothing else, your description of the perfume and your enthusiasm made this video great.

  • @Errenton Well thank you!

  • is this a joke?

  • I love your reviews makes my decision easier

  • @keene222 I'm glad!

  • hey i think ur vids are soooo informative and really helpful my personal favorite is the original juicy couture perfume if u check out my channel you'll see im juicy obsessed so pls check out my vids and subscribe thanx!

  • I tried it and HATED it. Smells way too mature for me. Honestly katie do you like it?

  • @tyeelkins I do think it's a well-composed tropical white floral, if not particularly original. But the fact that it's too mature is another consideration altogether. And it's also not for people who don't like to smell flowers in their perfume.

  • i hate this perfume

  • @2sweetandsexy No ifs, ands, or buts, there!

  • @KatiePuckrikSmells yea i was expecting way more from her

  • hmm i have to smell this. im a little hesitant tho.

i joined her shoe club & bought some nice boots.

  • i wish if you could do a review on perfumes like

givenchy hot couture, essence pure, or samsara

    thx a lot

  • You are a great perfomer and funny woman :)

I start to love watching your feminine fragrance reviews. lol :P

    Cheers,

  • @milkykungnaja Glad you're tuning in!

  • You're very odd and I like it!

  • Dam you look good today....

Charlie Chuck and James Whale Fan

  • you are a great reviewer, but i really disliked the kk smell. it reminded me of my grandma

  • If you smelled like music, I imagine it would it would be "Symphony Fantastique" by Hector Berlioz. Give a listen sometime.

  • What a tribute!

  • this is wonderful to view Katie......

i happily remember listening to you with those 'professional northerners' (!) Radcliffe & Riley on the radio from Manchester, it doesn't seem so long ago...but... er,...hang-on & oh-no.... i think i was wearing Ralph Lauren 'Polo' back then.......

    Blimey Charlie Our 'Kid indeed....!

  • Oh, it seems like yesterday, doesn't it? Love those lads....

  • If my eyes could smell, I'd say you reeked of a rainbow.

  • That's a nice little bit of poetry.

  • Rawr! Sexy Katie :)

Not sure about the fringe though.

  • Well, you're stuck with it for a while.

  • Hehe, well that's ok with me - always nice to see ya :)

  • Wow! Tuberose with a Juicy Couture and Fracas meets Jasmine twist?-I'm there! Must sniff this. BTW.. love your nods while you review. That gives it a twist of it's own ;)

  • Glad my erratic twitching is adding to the experience!

  • Dear Katie, yet another great review and the captions are great, especially for non-English speaking natives. Some descriptive adjectives can be hard sometimes.

Katie, I would also love if you reviewed Gurlain classics, like Mitsouko, L´heure Blue etc. I would be totally in bliss if you could share your perception of Aromatics Elixir by Clinique. Some people love it, most people hate it. Interestingly many of my beloved perfumes were launched in 1971.

  • 1971 was a great year for perfume - Chanel No. 19 & YSL Rive Gauche were launched then, too.

I've been getting requests for those Guerlain classics - I'll see what I can do....

  • Exactly, No. 19 is another favourite of mine. Rive Gauche is lovely too. I enjoy their staying power, it is endless.

  • Sounds like an interesting perfume, I'll have to give it a smell. And kudos for captions! You're probably the only video I've ever seen with them.

  • Thanks for the kudos. I've got captions on most of my vids, but YouTube recently changed their settings and now they automatically pop up. People can turn 'em off on their account settings if they want.

  • When I smelled KK in Sephora, it wasn't what I expected Kim K.'s perfume to smell like. I hadn't read the description or anything, but I'm not a fan :/

  • I think there's a fair amount of cognitive dissonance between Kim K and her perfume. Been hearing that from a lot of people.

  • Love this one! I agree completely with it being the daughter of Fracas. I use to wear Fracas, but felt like I could only wear it in the winter. With KK, I feel like I can wear it year-round. I am in love!

    Sylvie

  • Good point, Sylvie, KK is more of a year-round tuberose. Isn't it funny that such a hot-weather bloom like tuberose feel "too heavy" to wear in hot weather?

  • I smelled a sample n it was ok but wouldnt purchase. Katie would u review either tendre poison, flowerbomb, or vivara by emilio pucci? I own vivara already and would love ur opinion. :) Have a nice day.

  • I'm thinking I'm going to get into Flowerbomb soon. Thanks for the suggestion!

  • flowerbomb is divine!

  • totally KK smells just like Michael Kors... Not interested and Juicy smells soooo much better than KK...

  • Katie, You look fabulous in this vid. Love the necklace. Would you please review some Guerlain classics? Hugs to your baby yak, Rodrigo....lol.

  • "baby yak', ha-ha! Yes, I do need to hit up some Guerlains....

  • omg i love Rodrigo... and i may give kk a try.. maybe its too young for me but what do i care! hehehehe arf arf Rodrigo!

  • I don't know what Katie thinks, but I believe that age has nothing to do with fragrance....unless it's Love's Baby Soft...I recently bought it and couldn't even use it up as a spray for my car....I like to scent my car with stuff I kind of like but don't care to wear. I think Rodrigo should have his own channel. What do you think Katie? Arf to Rodrigo from me too!!

  • My "off-label" use for perfume includes spraying it in the bath. That way, I get to experience the smell if I've run out of space on my skin.

Oh, and further to my "perfume age position", younger fumeheads are often violently opposed to florals these days. So I do try to indicate when a floral perfume is crafted with the younger nose in mind, like Juicy Couture, Michael Kors Very Hollywood, Kat Von D Saint & KK. These florals include fruity and/or gourmand elements to make them work for teens.

  • I think it's easier to "go younger" in a perfume than to "go older". In other words, it would a silly for a 14-year-old to try to carry off a Queen of Sheba perfume like Fracas or Agent Provocateur or Hypnotic Poison. & more to the point, those heavy, rich smells wouldn't appeal to a younger nose.

When I talk about a perfume being "youthful", it's to let my teenage viewers know that it might be up their alley. It's not to discourage "more experienced" perfume lovers from trying it. So try KK!

  • I LOVE KK!

  • all i smell is the Gardenia... yuck!

  • KK smells eccactly like the Miceal Kors

  • Good one - they do have a lot in common.

  • did you use to be on the Word in the 90s?

  • @lixie23 That's me!

  • haha you're funny and serious at the same time :D thanks for the review

  • @LilHailey221 Sure thang!

  • KK smells like gardenias to me, its cloying. yuck !! Its just overwhelming like kim is. No thanks, either you hate it or your such a fan you would wear anything with kim's name on it.:(

  • ...or option 3 - you like gardenia perfume, so it smells good. KK is 100% a floral perfume, so steer clear if you don't want to smell flowery!

  • I missed your videos!!!! Can you do a review on the new CHLOE?

  • @Marienkaefer4 I do want to check out the brand new Chloe Intense. I haven't tried that one yet.

  • Your reviews are so well expressed that I think I can smell the perfumes you're reviewing.

  • can you review classic by banana republic? please!

  • Your review is expressed with great insight and intelligence. Now, I am intrigued enough to try this fragrance.Love your work, as always.

  • @Bronwynswish That's very nice to hear! Thank you.

  • *tuberose's #1 fan* Oooo that sounds wonderfullllllll I would never have thought to even LOOK at one without your review : D

  • @moolikeachicken Yeah! And also check my rec's for leonawitch, below.

  • hey Katie..got one question for ya..is it true thatthe KK perfume is more suited to those above 35 than teens? cos a fellow YT guru reviewed on it and based on her opinion, she felt like it was suited for women in the 30's than 20's..what do you feel bout that? cos im 21 and im interested in getting it myself.. =)

  • @leoanawitch I firmly feel that KK is a youthful tuberose perfect for late teens-20s ladeeez. As a frame of reference, I'd say Robert Piguet is a 30s-and-above tuberose. And Juicy Couture and Michael Kors Very Hollywood are more in the teen range of tuberose perfumes.

Another lovely tuberose is La Prairie Silver. But I think one of my very favorite tuberose is Estée Lauder Tuberose Gardenia.

  • why subtitles?

  • @Milovatsi I have subtitles on all my vids, but YT recently changed their settings, and viewers need to adjust their account settings to stop the subtitles from automatically popping up.

  • I love ms. smelly!!!

  • great video, i like these collaborations! can you review queen latifah's perfume... its kind of a weird request lol but i smelled it at a dept. store last week and was intrigued!

  • Thanks for the warning, er... I mean, review. I try to stay clear of ANYTHING that resembles the original Juicy Couture.

  • @donutmaster Consider yourself duly warned!

  • you have an amazing way of expressing scents!

  • @healingv1sion Why thank you!

  • I am so glad I found your channel, when are others coming? Ha maybe you already answered this but I don't have time to shop comments so thanks.... love ya ;0

  • @diatomshells I try to post a new video about once a week. Thanks so much for stopping by!

  • you aweson!

  • Kim Kardashian is one of my favorite celebrities so I really want to smell this perfume!

  • Love your reviews haven't smelled kk yet !

  • thanks gurl! ur reviews are so funny, i always look forward to them. =)

  • Thanks, doll!

  • I try to boil all the info down into a zippy, quippy package.

  • It's good to see you back :D Really funny review as usual :D

  • Thanks, angelkidz!

  • I've missed your videos! I have to say that I was not such a fan of KK. It struck me as "FLORAL!!!!!!!" I like a little more spice or kick to my scents ;)

  • You're absolutely right, it's "FLORAL!!!!!!!!" No hidden surprises.

  • You look lovely, I'm not a big tuberose fan but who knows perhaps I'll try....

  • Thx, mmorandin. If you don't like tuberose, then you'll be "meh" with KK. But I think it's tasteful little tuberose, as far as those things go....

  • oh katie how i have missed you

  • Hee-hee! I had to take some time off - I had a cold and lost my voice!

  • I really wanted to hate this perfume, since I dislike Kim, but I ended up really loving it. I don't know if I'll ever buy a full size of it, but I'm enjoying my sample. It was fresh, romantic and reminded me of my trip to London. Spring in Covent Garden. Definitely not what I was expecting.

  • Oh, that's a good way to describe it: fresh and romantic. I was surprised, too. "Fresh and romantic" don't really come to mind when you consider Kim K's image.

  • Considering her image and personality, I was expecting something woody or musky. Something sort of dirty and "just had sex". LOL. Glad that's not what it turned out to be.

  • That's one gorgeous dress, Katie!

As for the KK perfume. I love the review, but I refuse to buy (or even sniff) celebuscents, however decent they may be. I'm just not willing to support these mini-empires, these phony 'brands' built around fame&money hungry twits (male and female).

  • Thanks for the dress props, vidabo!

I feel a little...limp...at the constant push of celeb scents myself, but Sephora did a great job with Kat Von D's perfumes, and now with Kim K.

  • Thank You Thank You! i wanted to know what kk smelled like

  • That was a surprise!...might check it out then x

  • I am disappointed with this perfume. I got a sample with a different perfume purchase and was excited at first...I actually think it is too sweet for me and a bit on the boring side....I ended up throwing the sample away so I wouldn't be tempted to use it ,just because I enjoy watching "Keeping up with the Kardashians"

  • KK is such a straight-ahead floral, with no real kinks or surprises. StolieDassah put it well in her comment by calling it "fresh, romantic". But one person's "romantic" is another's "boring", lol!

  • Have you reviewd Pam Anderson's new perfume yet? I seen the the other day but there was no tester so I could not smell it:(

  • I haven't seen Pam's perfume yet. I'd be curious to know what it smells like. If anyone has, let me know.
