If your looking for help in the bank i think (been awhile so it may be a lie) I believe that barrier can be used to protect from death beams.

Sadly, you can't buy them yet, so you only have the one Higsby gives you after the Shopping District. Thus, having just one Barrier in the folder didn't really feel worth it to me.

Actually in the Megaman.EXE anime (the third series, Stream) Brightman (albeit Asteroid Brightman) was given to a guy named Ken to use as his navi, but like all other Asteroid navis this didn't last for long. But anyway, enough of my nerdiness, I look forward to the rest of this LP. C:

As for BrightMan, yeah, he's pathetically easy with his weakness. TreeBomb2 ends him absurdly quickly. I never got why games insist on having weaknesses being strict two times multiplier most of the time.... Without Wood, he's pretty tricky/annoying to fight because of his barrier, I guess, but who's masochistic enough to do that?

Me in the next video ;) BrightMan's main trick is he can react to any attack you throw at him to put up his shield, but anything thrown AFTER the shielded attack, he won't see coming. Thus, he has an allergy to delayed attacks like Rattons.

Indeed I do. Quickman is JUST as evil in this game as his original version was, complete with forcebeams and spastic movement. Worst part is he's a Null element so no weakness to use against him.

How long did the grinding for all those chips take this time? I'm curious.

Chip grinding goes faster in this game for the most part, just a matter of finding the virus you want to grind on, and constantly scrolling them back onto the screen.

How weird is it that Bright Man (classic) was a nightmare (pun intended) but BrightMan.EXE was the only boss so far to gave you little to no trouble. Of course, you did use weaknesses. And damage wasn't a concern.

They're actually cords ending in plugs. That's his weapon chip you can get from him, RemoPlug. Also in battle, if you get too close to him, he'll whip the plugs around, grab you with them, and drain your health.
