@ericsnowsucks i think is isn't a problem of "realism". it is a fertile time for art nowdays because there' so much crap around that people willing to really see real art has to dig deeper and be selective and culturally informed. Jerry Saltz is a nobrainer to me, as it is 99% of the art system. but art is for the people, and we as observers can make the difference between a modern cultural milestone ad a cardboard shit. to nowdays standards your viagra idea would be a successful performance :-)
