please answer! i have windows 7 32 bit installed on my comp and whenever i try and connect my canon hv20 to my comp, my computer doesn't detect it! how do you upload your videos to your computer!?!?!

What codec and encoding settings did you use? I have been trying to get youtube to recognize my videos as 1080p but it just keeps treating them as 720p.
I have tried encoding them as wmv @ 1920x1080, H.264 .avi @ 1920x1080, and H.264 .MTS @ 1920x1080. What was the file extension for your video.

@MsCraftyCritter You have to have a firewire cable. And a firewire port on your computer.

@mpgxsvcd I use MainConcept AVC as my codec, and its a .mp4 extension. Make sure the average bitrate is atleast 5,000,000 bps or 5 mbps.
