Anyone who thinks THAT is an Irish accent is a fuckin' moron. Brando was a great actor but even he could not pull it off. This accent is up (or should I say down) there with cruise in far & away, Spacey in ODC and gere in the jackal. Americans & (most) europeans cant do it. Stop trying. Now. Cast an irish actor (not Farrell) in future. P.S. The only American Actor that ever pulled it off was John Voight in "The General". Powerful Performance.
brando´s voice is almost unrecognizable here. he did a great job just like in godfather. in godfather he had pacino, in this movie nicholson. great collaborations!
The killer had some thieves to take care. Of course in those days many who were shot and hung as rustlers were not thieves. They just wouldn't sell out at a thieves price. So the respectable man with the judges in his pocket hired likes of Robert E Lee Clayton.
Lol, Marlon was too lazy to remember the scripts, so in the end, he was reading the cue cards that was put on Jack Nicholsons forehead while film. He was the mighty Godfather, little Jack got to listen.
@animaniaco Don't let little flicks like The Shining & The Witches Of Eastwick mislead you....Brando would play God & the Devil...Jack would merely play one of his Angels/Archangels.

in brando's own autobiography brando wrote of how he liked to have sex with married women; he had lots of affairs with married women.
brando's daughter killed herself; she claimed her dad/brando molested her. and her brother was jailed for killing her bf; he later died of pnuemonia/maybe aids
two of my favorite and sexiest actors in the same film.. overload.

This film is worth seeing just for the interaction between these two. Not much else to recommend it, though.

Brando was Jack's neighbor up in Mulholland, along with Warren Beatty. that's why it's called "Bad Boy Drive"

Great movie. Lots of great actors (Harry Dean Stanton among them).
This is one of my favorite scenes: "Is your nerve gone?" Pretty much the central question for Logan.
