  • This is a great song written by Carlton McCarthy and from Alison's Mercury nominated 2002 album 'HOMETIME'. The album produced by 'The Insects' of Massive Attack fame boasts great songs such as: 'If You Don't Come Back To Me', 'Should I Feel That It's Over', and the spine tingling ' You Don't Have to Go, Check 'Hometime' out it is a MOYET classic,

  • she reminds me an anime ending song..

special voice no doubt :) beautiful

  • oliversweeting.....get wise! Her BV's are tracked but her main vocal is live. Quite obvious really.

  • Gosh I LOVE her voice!!! So unique!!

  • AMAZING WOMAN AND VOISE! I loved her in YAZOO, but her new comeback is just stunning! She's a very spesial woman! Even more sexy than ever!!Hope to see her live once in my life time! Regards from NORWAY!

  • This album, Hometime is stunning! 'The Turn' is incredible too! She just gets better. This woman has one of the best voices out there! her songwriting is just as good! She shoudl get the recognition she deserves!

  • My God!! I never heard of her until tonight!!She is fantastic...where is she now...does she tour?

Did she ever make it in the states!?

  • Welcome to the world of Alison Moyet. One of the best singers in the world!

  • I agree! that voice is perfection in it's purest form, i highly recommend her first cd "alf" to owilde, i fell in love with her voice after hearing Love Resurrection.

  • weird not the song i expected it to be (never heard of her) xD

  • Alison Moyet's been around for 26 years, won Brit awards, nominated for an Emmy, appeared in two West End productions, sold over 25 million albums...where have you been ;)

  • @drake0999 That's funny...she's never heard of you, either.

  • fantastic! we have to applaud her lipsynchic skills...one of her best tracks, shame she wasn't given the chance to sing it live!

  • This is an obvious lipsync, as Alison's voice can clearly be heard on the BV's. No matter, it seems that hardly anyone sings live on UK talkshows. Too bad, because the live performances of the songs from hometime are mesmerizing.

  • aye, one more american in love with woman

  • when the hell did this come out and how did i miss it

  • one of her best tracks indeed.

  • "Do you ever wonder..." >>> yeah, she's BRILLIANT!! :)

Thanks for sharing this, wish I could see her live someday.

  • this american loves her.

  • She's so amazing, US did lose out on this fabulous talent, just as they did on Cilla Black way back in the 1960's.

  • Madison Avenue PR firms would be money wasted in promotion for Alison. Alison is just very real!

She has sold over 20 million on her own talent - now that is impressive!

  • america has lost out, not recognizing alison in the way she deserves. fabulous woman, amazing voice...wake up to the wonder that is alison moyet!

  • I think the only way for Americans to like her is for her to be as trashy as Madonna lol
