  • Absolutely beautiful! I would love to live in such a lush green place.

  • nice place.get them ponds filled with a couple carp for weed control and catfish and bluegill.set-up a automatic feeder and let the fish grow, grow, grow.thnaks for sharing with us .

  • bro im jealous. nice property.love that pond, if u are going to use it also as ur shtf get way i would fill that pond with tilapia. to eat. is the only fish that dosent have any mercury. and they will reproduce like crazy. i would leave the front of the property looking rough. so it wouldnt atrack attention. and fix up the the back. well just an opinion. nice place though.

  • that pond sure looked like a sewage lagoon.

  • copper sulfate may have been added to the pond.

  • Love the property ! Got paint on me right now, from working at another property we just got ! About 5 acres & Lots of work, but so worth it !

  • Sweet! Secluded and off the beaten path like our place. Good luck with it, my 1st visit to your channel.

  • I love it man. Looks like it has a ton of things to offer. I can't wait to see how you turn it around.

  • That property looks pretty bad ass! Congrats! Any bass in that pond?

  • Be carefull with the weed killer, don't want to kill all of your berry bushes or mess up the ponds. Love the property!! Might be time to buy some goats to help with the weeds. New to yuor channel so not sure if this is something you had thought about or not. Good Luck !!!

  • I enjoyed the tour...Looking for more videos showing how it is going.

  • @southernprepper1 Thanks a lot for watching. I really enjoy and appreciate all your videos!

  • Great find .. so much potential very jealous!! ;-]

  • looks like heaven to me mate even with the weeds

  • I can't wait for part2

  • not ugly to me!!

  • Good stuff... what's the plan of attack? Should figure out the order / priority of things in order to not get overwhelmed. I know I'm getting overwhelmed just watching it! lol

  • Looks like a really great place! thanks for sharing

  • Really looking forward to see how you setup your homestead. Looks like a great opportunity. Thanks for sharing.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the old trailer was to repurpose it. Cut the metal, make a metal framed pergola. Attach some solar to the top and then add rain harvesting collectors. Make your first project emergency power and water using existing materials on the land.

  • @assilvertried7x Thanks a lot!

  • 18 Acres here in Montana, with decent structures, rural with good water would run you $200K. Your place looks really nice!

  • @meatloafzombie Thanks bud I appreciate it. You wouldn't believe the deal I got on this place =)

  • Did the previous owner get in trouble contaminating a watershed? Its not shtf now. Does this property have a current septic system. Working well? Does wireless phone/internet work? Any easments? If there's a gravel pit near the zoning may have changed so you not be allowed to have "animal units". Dig deep to find out why they realy left.

  • @jasonmushersee First there is no zoning here. Second, it was a gravel pit in the late 1800s, not since. The only easements are for 2 oil wells which I have purchased the rights to and lease them to the oil company and have complete control over. I can stop that at any time. Excellent 2 month old dual septic tanks with leach field and 160' well. House is wired for satellite, cable, internet and great wireless access. We didn't jump right in to this, its been months in the works.

  • @CopingWithTheTimes yeah I think since the septic/drain field is new, you may want investigate that pond a little further.

  • Wow, can't wait to see what you do with it. Good luck!

  • @watuwaitn4 Thanks and I can't wait to see either haha

  • Great find on the property! A lot of natural resources and wild edibles. Your new property has a lot of potential. I look forward to your up coming video's. Good luck with the projects, some of the old stuff would make good yard decorations...Thanks for sharing.

  • @69Grunden Thanks bud and thanks for watching. Should be a good time.

  • cattails Don't kill the cattails! You can eat the entire plant and use it for different stuff!

  • @nagaempress Yes sir. =) definitely a bonus haha

  • Really great looking place...potential everywhere.

  • Awesome resources you have there. I see lots of edible plants in your yard and look at the potential firewood you have. Water looks abundant and clean and the soil is fertile that's for sure. Good job my friend! I am looking forward to seeing what you do to it. Look at all the garden space!!!!! Thanks for sharing.

  • im in north west ohio are you near by

  • Best of luck...Looks good ...mine is only 8 acres but almost the same setup....:)

  • that trailer can be cut up for scrap....scrap is high now.it can free up some $

  • Awesome potential! Good luck my brother, probably dont have much time left.

  • Excellent place. It may take some hard work to get it the way you want it but it will be well worth it.I think it is great how you have the vision of the potential of what the place will be.Congrats.Looking forward to seeing the rest of your new place.

    Take care

    Pete

  • How many subs you got? If we all came out you could have it set up in a weekend! Can't wait to see more!

  • @Gunslinger69usa Hahaha now that sounds like a plan! Thanks for watching!!

  • What a great find!

    I, too, am jealous.

  • This is exactly what we are looking for but I don't think I could adjust to the cold winters in Ohio. Darn! I'm jealous!

  • @SurplusSoldiers Thanks bud I appreciate that. Loads of wild edibles and the fish in that pond! WOW - Theyve been feeding them daily since 1983! haha As far as the hunting goes, I walked about 30 yards back in to the woods while spraying weeds and found an old tree stand up in a tree =)

  • sweet place man! you should throw some goat or sheep on that land they will do the work for you. great buy!

  • @yyuguy Thanks bud and that sounds like a GREAT idea!

  • Subbed just to see what you're able to do with this place. Lots of fruit already on the place...that's terrific.

  • @katzcradul Yeah the fruit everywhere is a huge bonus. Thanks for watching. I'm anxious to see what happens as well haha.

  • Seems like a great location, and yes there is a lot of potential for that homestead, =) I am excited to see what you do with it.

  • @0perationCreation Thanks bud. Im excited to see that as well. Thanks for watching!

  • @copingwiththetimes Looks like a lot of work bro but a lot of potential for sure. Nice find bro!
