The ice turns black because it isnt melting fast enough and stays a solid.. it turns black like everything else that is exposed to fire O.o

But the thing is it will not be what you think of as frozen. Like for instance Metal is frozen liqued metal. Everything has different freezing temperature.

No, you can't. Alcohol doesn't freeze at the same temperature as water (read as: no home refrigerator can reach the temperature required).
