  • wow... I never have seen someone acting so badly... It really shows that her heart wasn't really broken...

  • horrible

  • I hope TrueFateStudio doesn't charge for this shit, fuck its terrible.

  • uhm... O.o nooo??

  • I felt the sadness from this, Very well done, Love the music that was added in. Really helped with the effect.

  • Thats was what i felt, when my ex fiancee left me, this piece basically said what i wanted to say to him. Except, i wouldnt want to see him ever again.

  • As far as the film goes, I fully expected to bust a side laughing at what she was about to do to him. I picked up on a couple Quan Specials in there, but that was a serious piece, and very well acted and produced. This guy is a serous film maker.

As to the person who shared this clip, (and I have no doubt that is was a 'sista'), I have to say this does not change my perceptions or appetites. Sooner of later, you guys have to choice between: makeup and femininity, or attitude and speaches.

  • What few relationships I have had were always good and generaly ended on good terms. I don't pursue, because I don't believe in that. But I remember every one of them, and thankful for the time. But before I comit to marriage, I am gonna be damn sure. The courts are too involved in the marriage institution, and I'd rather miss out than mess up.. and ruin two lives.

The main reason though for staying single is financial. I want to be able to support my wife and not struggle of fail her.

  • I just had some stupid bitch share this clip with me tryin to shame me about my views on attraction--as if to share with me what real love is.

I have said many a-time, that my goal in companionship is a mutual connection that both parties grow fonder of each other. I have been close a number of times, but most of them were married, or going through devorce--two scenarios I vow never to interrupt. Others, but moved too slow and lost the opportunity. But none of them were ugly. Sorry..

  • hi this a stupid video does she ever shutup he dont like her gosh just fave life blonde!!!

  • @kenziemlb No jack, she's right, every last bit of it.. The point I thing is trying to make here is that hot women deserve to be loved for their minds and not their half naked bumps.. WHICH I TOTALLY GET.

But love and attraction are two different things altogether. And I just don't let society set the rule for what I deserve to be attracted to..

i can take rejection fine from somebody I like but will not appologize for thinking outside the box when it comes to my happiness.

  • @kenziemlb I like gosh okay, it's stupid bitch i can't abide.. If a girl loves me that much, she don't have to worry about me loving her right back.

I like this piece of cenima. it was well done. I was waiting for it to get silly but it was really theatrical. But the Whoe that sent it to me is probably one of these local blacklisting Dogs angry because I don't cave under the pressure of concensus and 'tough-love' hypocracy. I just don't take spiritual advise or critisizm from Devil worshipers.

  • None of that said would have mattered worth a blunt nickle, if the broad saying it wasn't hot as hell.

  • I think was good :-) thanks for sharing it with me!

  • Looks lake a cheap brazilian serial

  • This is really cool! I love it! ^^

  • Pretty good, keep up the good work!

  • Very nice... Talented girl.

  • so dramatic... but I like it actually. nice job, obviously talented girl. I agree with some people here about his expression - we would like to see more of him as well... but, all in all - good :))

  • I like her expressions, they seem very true. I have to agree about him just standing there. I would have loved to have seen his expressions. Really good job though! Very clear! Thanks for posting this! :-)

    thnx

  • great acting!!..love it!!..:)

  • hello, my name is Emilio, excellent acting of the actress, a film well done, perfect choice of music, but was a electric piano (I do not conventional) I prefer the actual sound of the cello, violin and harp, for the next film looking for people who touch each string instrument. From 1 to 10, my score is 9, very good. Health and success in next film. EMILIO (Argentina, South America, Patagonia)

  • Very interesting. When I watched the movie, I did wonder about Jonathan's fiance...I guess they "had to" gloss over the fact he broke her heart because of the name and number in the book she gave him.

This was a beautiful and moving video. I think some parts felt more genuine and some were a little forced to felt rehearsed. But I was reminded a little of LeeLee Sobieski for some reason- her strength and delivery in scenes. =)

  • Nice job! Her eyes say it all.....yes the music was a great choice!

  • Wow..I always wondered how Jonathan ended his wedding ceremony since they skipped that part in the movie..very well thought out. Even her eyes say it all..great job!

  • Nice little film..I like how the focus is on Halley's point of view.Good Job

  • Nice! I like it!

  • Hi, I saw the short film, it's very interesting. I think you and your friend have the quality to do something important. You have to advertise your work! More people will watch your film you have more chance of success.

  • Really liked this. fresh and true! Thanks to Doris for suggesting it to me. Will subscribe.

  • Good job! Nice representation of closure for Halley and Jonathan. Keep it up!

  • lovely! Beautiful. some parts of the music doesn't fit as well as other parts, but i love the acting! The Words You Say speak to me! can't wait to see more of you!(:

  • Nice acting in it, the dialog is good. the music fits in nicely good job =D

  • Beautiful video and acting, I looove the music!

    Well done :)

  • Hello princes, good job

OMG,i saw so love, love, and realy love tears , cute,

I subscribed a few minutes, as you told me

the musicc is beutiful like you

    have a nice night

  • the music doesnt fit

  • @Stalinx20

Thank you for the comment. About the music, this was one of our first composition. We thought the sounds of the Cello, Violin, and Harp brought the gravity of the situation, emotions and transitions well. The cello was for the gravity, the violin was for the voice in her conscious and soul to forgive, and the harp was for the undying hope that all women tend to carry, perhaps too much. The only good thing that came out of Pandora's Box was hope. So perhaps it's their burden.

  • Good job :-) I really like it :) But I don't get why Jonathan stands quiet and doesn't even say "I'm sorry" throughout the monologue :-)

It is nice that you made a good story about Halley :-)

  • @OrangeAni

Thank you, and you hit it right on; I wanted to glorify Halley, because the Serendipity glorified Jonathan and Sarah. I took inspiration from THE WOMEN (1939), a movie that had no male characters, but involved mostly topics about men, marriage and divorce. I wanted Halley to be everything in the film, and Jonathan's only "I'm Sorry" came at the beginning of their conversation. Because by the end, she doesn't need his sorry; he should be sorry for himself choosing the wrong girl.

  • too much drama... back round music almost make me sleep... all in all :D good job.. ur definitely going to get better i hope too see more on u :D

  • @howard029

Thank you, I actually thought the background music was one of the finer parts of the film, but we'll try to get it right next time. Thanks, I hope you continue to follow our films and vids.

  • @howard029

Thank you, I actually thought the background music was one of the finer parts of the film. As for the drama, I actually felt people might think it's too little drama, after all her groom is leaving her on her wedding day. I think the most natural reaction is anger and disbelief, but since it had to be resolved and end kindly for the groom, I actually had to compress the 5 stages of grief into one last conversation between the two. Perhaps that is why it's too much drama.

  • @TrueFateStudio

I would agree. I like the background music and it definitely fits the scene.

    The acting is great.

The dialogue is also good, however I would have changed the male's lines slightly, so that there is less of an explanation of why he is leaving her.

The drama is good, it reminds me of a famous story that has almost the same story (I can't remember its name), however the woman didn't accept the change.

Not entirely to my tastes though ;)

  • Kate is so talented ! The Direction has made a good work ! I would like to see more films from this studio. Kisses and Hugs. By the way..What kind of camera have you used on this work ?

  • @Blancasalirrosas

Thank you. I hope you continue following out work, and I hope it brings you laughs and tears, or any other emotion in between. The camera that I use is a JVC GZ-HD40. It's an HD camcorder that is really affordable. It uses one CMOS microchip to process the image, which isn't as good as 3 CCDs for each color, but for the price it is very good. If you like anymore information I'll be glad to describe the pros and cons. Anyhow, thank you for watching.

  • Enhorabuena! A mí me encantó!

  • very dramatic! You should do something for pride and prejudice

  • @crysmarie22

Pride and prejudice, one of my favorite books. Let me see if I can find something edgy and different/alternative view to portray. I remember really loving Rosencrans and Gildenstern, and their views on the story of Hamlet.

  • Hey Kate - Rachel said I'd love this film - she was right! Great work!

  • @jobarrij

Rachel is awesome. I'm glad you like the film too. I look forward to showing more of my completed works.

  • beautiful .way to go .now am one of ur fan

  • @possion101

Thank you, it's incredibly rewarding to have people appreciate my work. I won't disappoint. ;)

  • Fabulous! Kate is Stunning and so Talented!

  • rly sad, i liked it. shot mostly in that one take was pretty good. dont see that many videos like that very often. =)

  • @RATTPack

Thank you, I'm glad you appreciate the difficulty in that shot. I opted to go with that approach to showcase the talent of the actress. But I'll have to admit it was one of the hardest shots to pull off, and I probably won't go back to it again unless the film dictated it.

  • Excellent acting! Great direction to get the best out of the actress.. Looking forward to see more...

  • @maddyhotrod

Thank you. Kate Jopson is an amazing talent. She allowed the character to flow easily into her, and added continued depth into her character. I was very fortunate to find her from UC Berkeley.

  • Very talented director

  • @AlbanianWolf

Thank you very much. I'm proud of the work, but I see so many areas for improvements. I'll make sure my next film will be more flawless.

  • @TrueFateStudio, It's great that you see room for improvement. All great artists seeks to improve on their work, regardless of how beautiful it is. Keep on going. Don't extinguish the desire to perform or contribute to beauty and art in this world. Be a poet, an artist, a director and a visionary.

  • Hey Kate,

That was really heartwrenching!! So sad, but you looked beautiful and great acting. Was also a very well made video

  • @kdcaissie

Thank you. In this version of the story, I felt like Halley is the most unique and special one compared to Jonathan and Sarah Thomas (the "other" woman). It makes me not sad anymore.

  • what a sad story! gut-wrenching!

  • @chitown644

Yeah I felt the sadness. It's crazy what fate can do to you, someone's serendipity could be anothers misfortune. But I didn't feel like I played the loser. By the end, I felt like Jonathan is going to miss out on me.

  • great video

  • very well put 2gether, very emotional and great acting. but most of all u where very beautiful. keep up the good work.

  • @SFGIANT69

Thank you, I'm glad you felt the film. It is quite a long short with a long monologue. I was afraid 10 minutes of me might bore people.

  • Very well done!! I really enjoyed it!!

  • Nice job. Good production quality.

  • @Bjornrono

Thank you. We tried really hard, and will continue to learn and improve our trade. I hope each time it will get better.

  • Classic! Love it. Great job, guys

  • love the video!

  • @nguyenjta

Thank you. This was a very hard video to shoot. Shooting a 7min scene took a lot of hard work, team work, and dedication. We need to build a couple of rigs to film better. Thank you for watching.

  • Beautifully done! Your face in the mirror was a reflection of the entire clip. You told the story with your heart and soul which shined through in your eyes and in the sensitivity of each word you spoke. The difference between good and great acting is when your entire body tells the story; and you not only memorize your lines but instead, the story becomes alive through you. You made this short story feel real. You truely did shine in this video. I hope to see more from you very soon!

  • @brendabush07

Thank you, your words mean a lot to me and speaks volumes into good acting. You are so right, and it's an amazing feeling to get into character and let the story unfold into the deepest recces of your soul and body. It was like I had a chance to live more of life through another shoes. This was a very complex piece; the director heavily emphasize transitions and point of change. I was made to feel like the quagmire and then shine like a lotus. Thank you so much. =)

  • Really good short movie. like it :):):)

  • @tajfun3333

Thank you, this is my first time posting a short film on youtube. It makes me really anxious to release more of my work. I want to get that feeling that "anything is possible."

  • really enjoyed this, can tell you put alot of passion and effort into it x

  • @neolantean

Thank you. I had a lot of passion for this role, because it spoke well to me. And passion is one of those things that when it's gone, you feel like your life was worthless. And surprisingly, these comments empower me. Thank you.

  • Well done I really enjoyed it. Kate your were great. I always wanted to know what had happened when Jonathan confronted Halley. Great work

  • @61halfmile

Thank you. Me too, I always wanted to see how Halley would handle it. There are so many ways this situation could go. But all we got to see was Jonathan relaxing on the ice rink. I understand the weight being lifted from him, but wouldn't he feel down for hurting ( and that is a light word) Halley earlier that day? MEN...

  • wow such wenderfful

  • @yoinhabibi

Thank you. It was a truly great experience.

  • good video .. i like the dialog also well acted ..good job guys.. ps. the music is a little resident evil ish...

  • @eSlyBoogie

Thank you. I can see the resident evil similarities. For sure at times I wanted to destroy my fiancee. Imagine being left of your wedding day with all of your family and friends; I might be a hermit for a long time or in jail.

  • Comment removed

  • I started crying with her words!. that is what true love means...

  • @maricuatica2008

Thank you that means so much. Love is such a big part of our lives, but often times we don't allow ourselves to fully express it. I was one of those people; I could never imagine fighting for a boy back. But after doing this project, I find a lot of strength and reward being so vulnerable to someone.

  • great job, keep it up sweetheart =)

  • @gatorade10ful

Thank you, I will keep up the hard work. I've been doing stage work lately, and will want to release clips from it soon.

  • guys this is great love love love
