  • this is the part i suck at

  • so wait...do you want me to make sure i fold it over?

  • If only these were numbered ffs

  • it ok but i dont get it

  • Mmmkay?

  • thanks for this video

now i can make a hand puppet for my project

  • Thanx vor this "how to"vid. (this is part 2 b.t.w.)

I`ve build about 8 puppets using this "method" and i`ve put them in a musicvideo. Feel free to click my channel and check them out.

Ps: Draw the fingers big/wide enough or they will get stuck when turning them inside out later on !! Neck wide enough or you`ll see the base of your thumb inside the neck.

You could also draw a pointy head or sumpin`like that

(next up is part 3- sewing pattern outlines)

  • They should really number these things.

  • intead of using a marker, my sis used this special kind of light chalk for cloth that earases realy easy and once she got it right she underlined it in marker

  • oh man. why couldn't peop;e tell me i need fleece?? i use felt..

  • why wouldn't felt work just as well?

  • well after watching all these vids i decided to make my own puppet tho i used a bath towel instead of fleece. turned out ok BUT the one thing i need to refine is my patern. the head looks pretty much circular i am wondering on a good diameter for the head so that i can make a cardbord patern as i plan on making several more puppets and help would be great

  • bath towel, eh? Looked a bit like cookie monster, I bet.

  • kwl!

  • Nice and simple.

I like to sew the arms on separate.
