"to say marriage is only btw a man & a woman" is ignorant.
Divorces between men & women are almost 60% in the U.S., and yet committed loving gay couples, together for decades cannot marry.
Marriage is the love and commitment between Two Adult Human Beings.
Regardless if it's a straight marriage, mixed marriage, or gay marriage, without LOVE & COMMITMENT, there would be no marriage.

Why do call yourself DOCTOR Yeh? Is that suppose to give more credibility? I also have a PhD. Does that mean I am an expert in determining who other people should love and marry, and who they should be committed to for life?

Loving v. Virginia, 1967 is when the ban against interracial marriages was struck down by US Supreme Court: Jeter/Negro & Richard/white were married. They were charged & sentenced to jail.
Judge said:
"Almighty God created the races white, black, yellow, malay and red, and he placed them on separate continents. And, but for the interference with his arrangement, there would be no cause for such marriage. The fact that he separated the races shows that he did not intend for the races to mix."

Perez vs. Sharp - End to Miscegenation Laws in CA
In 1948, Andrea Perez, a Mexican woman, and Sylvester Davis, an African man, filed a lawsuit against then L.A. County Clerk. They had sought a marriage license from the LA County Office but were denied such because Perez was racially classified as white and Davis as negro. Under CA law, no marriage license could be issued between a "white" and a "negro". The case went to the CA Supreme Crt., the couple were able to successfully overturn laws.

How much discrimination did the Chinese suffer under the interpretation of the bible? No long ago, it was illegal for a Chinese to marry outside of the race. Seperate but equal, that works out so well for Black people back in the days right? Why dont we ship all the Asian to one area, and Whtie people to the other, since Asian population is only 2-3%, why should we accept living in the same area as them? I totally support you, Dr. Yeh. You and your family should be shipped to somewhere else.

God did create everyone and he loves us. We as a society could and have changed the way we live or have forced others to accept new views. We could go around and around but the answer is very simple, just asked yourself what would happened if we only had a couple of the same sex on this earth or for that matter any type of animal of the same sex? Considering that even in the animal kingdom a small percentage have same sex characteristics, to imply that somehow everyone would be gay if gays are allowed to have rights is just silly. Since there isn't only one couple on this earth, you logic is flawed on face value.

And the good news...
A new poll shows that the vast majority of the California's Asian Americans oppose Proposition 8.
The poll found that 57% of likely Asian-American voters planned to vote against the amendment, while 32% said they would approve the measure.
Asian Americans also favored Senator Barack Obama over Senator John McCain for president.

God made man and woman. God didn't make Adam and Alan or Eve or Eva. It is right to love our neighbor, but not making love with our neighbor. We Christians love our same sex friends, but we never have sex with them. It is totally wrong. It is sin in God's sight...
