By this time, Rockers had gotten away from the pretty boys bumping for the roided freaks and losing to the POP, and Demolition, and by 1991 they were starting to look like a serious contender for the tag belts instead of just a fangirl team.

I know alot of people said it was good that they pulled the trigger in late 91 and cut Shawn loose to go singles and start work on HBK so the Rockers didn't become a parody of the changing wrestling scene in the early 90s, but I was sad to see it end.

that's why they decided to break up around this time, they were finally recognized by the fans as the top tag team in the world besides the L.O.D and that's why their break up was so shocking, if Michaels had decided to pull off the whole Barber Shop
