pigs got me for a DWI like 12 months ago. Seeing that red and blue flashing behind you when you know your drunk is NOT a good feeling people. one of the worst feeling in the world in fact. Well I will start off by telling you that he is not a "cop" he is a Trooper. Second Miranda warning is not given to anyone unless they are detained for questioning; it is not given to a person that is simply arrested. Miranda warning is the "elf's rights" that you speak of if you did not know. Maybe your feelings would be different the elf had hit another vehicle and killed someone.

the video is as much public record as the police report is therefore can be put here by anyone...it certainly is embarass but doesnt amount to libel or slander. For a libel or slander case to have merit it the libelous/slanderous information must be untrue. The reading of rights under the Miranda ruling is required only if the suspece is subjected to interogation while in custody...not required simply for having been arrested. I'll try to not be so much of a fool in the future...thanks
