  • One more reason I won't vote for ANYONE but Paul. He's the only candidate for president that is truly serious about the Constitution and has proven it with a 30 year track record. ALL the other Republican candidates are quite comfortable to keep many of the unconstitutional departments, agencies, laws and policies that this tyrannical government has put in place and continues to embrace. Why don't American's see the perilous state our nation is when it comes to losing freedom & rights?

  • how much has terrorism killed in US history??

How much has alcohol killed in US history??

How much has Drugs on the street killed in US History??

How much has Aids killed in US history??

The ratio would be like 30,000000 to 1..

And you guys put 50 TRILLION of the US war on "Terror"!!

And then you tell us, we are not at war with Islam? Who are you clowns trying to kid?

  • The Doctor/The Judge 2012

  • Did that fucking prick just say the tea party is racist? Glenn shut your chubby mouth.

  • .........well this is the time that tries men's souls.......all the rules have gone out the window........hold on to your wallets your guns your kids your bibles........big brother is looking to grab whatever you got......

  • Glenn Schmeck is just an opportunist, just like about all in the media and they either think people are stupid, Ron Paul is the only candidate that agrees with what they are talking about and he laughs or calls him a cook on 1 issue, Israel which Ron Paul has said allegiance to no one! WTH Schmeck!!

  • I honestly don't get why barack has not been impeached yet. Supreme Court.

  • So why won't Beck jump on top of the highest soapbox and wave a Ron Paul flag? I don't get it... Because of Israel? Dr. Paul's foreign policy is the only one in line with the Founders and the Constitution -- you know, that stuff that Beck is always preaching. Be that as it may, regarding the clip/issue at hand: who else but Dr. Paul has publicly condemned the actions of this president? WHO?!? Jesus, Beck: GET ON BOARD WITH THE SHOW! Dr. Paul is our best - and perhaps last - hope.

  • The 5th Amend. reads "No person...shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law". "No Person". There is no distinction between citizen and non-citizen. There is no distinction between Bin Laden and Alwaki with regards to the 5th Amend. Both were killed under the law. The law (Authorization to Use Military Force) passed in Sept. 2001 authorized the President to use force against nations, organizations, or persons responsible for 9/11 and to prevent future attacks.

  • It's sad, because I actually liked Beck until he was bought by the Zionists.

  • @getthepoooffmybum America and Israel are great allies; Beck wasn't bought by Zionists, he supports Israel like patriotic Americans should.

  • so the soldiers that do not support israel are unpatriotic? what about the fact that millions of iraqis and thousands of american soldiers have died in iraq because bush decided to start a war over over faulty information? am i unpatriotic because i believe that bush should be held accountable for those lives because he didnt take the time to find out if iraq really did have WMDs?

  • @livasdad Lol...that was a good point about soldiers; yes, soldiers are patriotic despite their beliefs...if they are willing to risk their life for America, that's the definition of patriotism. All of the sudden, though, you switch into the Iraq war...not sure how these two logically connect. I am also not sure about how I imply you are unpatriotic for believing Bush should be held accountable for lives lost in the War on Terror...

  • @june372 well forget the rest of the paragraph then lol but why should americans support israel to be " patriotic Americans"...but what has israel done for us to deserve our support?

  • @june372 It's okay if you support Israel. It's not okay if you wish to send them billions of dollars and be their personal army.

  • eff Beck

  • Thomas Jefferson wrote the following: "A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means. "

  • @Deist1965

If you read Jefferson's letter to John Colvin, from which your quote is taken, you'll find that Jefferson is referring to situations that are dire in nature. And with no TIME to do anything else less suffer death. ie - A man running from an enraged grizzly bear breaks into a locked cabin to escape certain death. If you are inferring that Jefferson would approve of the assassination of Anwar al-Awlaki then You are wrong. Neither America, Obama, or you were in the throes of death.

  • In this case the federal government is seeking to directly terrorize their own citizens to prevent them from engaging in free speech.

    THAT my friends is treason.

Can I get a witness or two...?

  • The 'Authorization for Use of Military Force' is a law that congress passed that authorizes the president to use force against nations, organizations, and individuals responsible for 9/11.

  • i like the washington quote about government being fire and force. but unfortunately its a fake

  • @MickeyMacaroney "Government is not reason; it is not eloquence. It is force. And force, like fire, is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." George Washington

I believe that is the quote that he was referring to.

  • @miscellaneoususerify yes im familiar with the exact quote, im just saying washington never said it. its nice, but someone completely made it up. theres a couple founding father quotes that are similarly too good to be true. just dont want ppl to be called out on it

  • I could tell by the way he was speaking that he wasn't making a direct quote. It's a great metaphor, though. Fire is necessary, but if you don't harness and control that force - everything burns up.

  • Where were these guys when GW went on a killing spree for 8 years?

  • Glenn Beck has been all over the place and wrongly accused Ron Paul of being an anarchist...however I must say...when he started to challenge the Status Quo, I predicted he would loose his show...and look where he is today....I am no Glenn Beck fan but again........

  • this morning Glenn Beck had Herman Cain on his show.

Beck has abandoned Perry and started up his love-fest for Cain because what is most important for Beck is support of Israel so Cain is in support of Israel as well.

Does Beck know that Cain PRAISED Obama's unconstitutional Robo-Hit.

    Beck and Cain.........Blow....with the......

  • Cass Sunstein wants animals to have the right to sue people, such as the owners and yet, he has no regard for Constitutionally guaranteed individual rights. Clearly he is demented. Animals don't have Constitutional rights. PEOPLE have Constitutional rights.

  • Progressives do not advocate shit like that.

  • athabascka : Yemen is now considered enemy territory?Since when?

OH,yea...a country full of brown people...I see where YOU are comin' from

  • I can’t believe for people don't see the danger of this policy. What Ron Paul fear is not about this case, but the door leads to unthinkable consequences. With today's corruption, this policy would easily misuse as a tool for the future. Enemy? Whose enemy? Maybe you are the rival of my business, and I paid a big fat fee to the authority to label you so called "terrorist", while you are sitting infront of your computer. You would be dump enough not even knowing you have done wrong. Idiot!

  • find a keygen for your video convertor! :P

  • I'm surprised Beck took the correct side of the assassination debate.

  • Who will psychopath puppet Obummer decide to assassinate next?

    The Occupy Wall Street protestors?

    The librarian?

And clowns such as Gingrich, Romney, and Perry endorse this despicable act that usurps the 5th Amendment.

    Unbelievable!

    Ron Paul, 2012!

  • SPEAKING WORDS OF WISDOM...LET IT BE, "RON PAUL/COMMON SENSE 2012"

  • Glenn Beck is the biggest fake.

  • All the counter terrorism measures imposed are unconstitutional. Mass murder has been illegal in this country for a long time. TimothyMcVeigh was a domestic terrorist. We didnt create new beauracracies, take our shoes off or take American rights away thru the patriot act then. So why now? Our politicians really believe they can destroy America and rebuild it in their authoritarian image. Obama is the puppet means to that end.

  • Paul/Napolitano for 2012.

  • @ ljustasking- you took the words out my mouth, fox news are clowns

  • This manufactured outrage is so transparent it makes me laugh, so now they are upset with Obama because he is too tough on terror, we really have heard everything...the same people were criticizing him for being too soft on terror ...please give me a break with you hypocrisy, where was this outrage when bush doing the same shit and worse? ***don't get me wrong am against this shit but I hate political hypocrisy**

  • @Ijustasking I'm in no way trying to defend fox but they both didn't like bush at all and were against the wars.

  • @tyseibert Really?? in March 2003, Beck ran a series of rallies, "Rally for America", in support of troops deployed for the upcoming Iraq War. Never hear he was against the war. It is easy after things went wrong to say "it was a mistake" but back then he was another war mongered. He was outspokenly for torture and criticized Obama for stopping bush era interrogations! now suddenly he is all for civil liberties and human rights the only principle he has is "anti-democrat" no matter the issue.

  • If you join al Qaeda, you should be killed. We're at war and this is how we win it. The "dangerous" precedent set is this: if you, an American citizen, joins al Qaeda, we will make no distinction. Sounds good to me.

  • @athabascka

So if I want you assassinated all I have to do is claim you are with Al-Qaeda. SOUNDS GOOD TO ME!!!...Jackass.

  • @alexerify1: We knew he was working for al Qaeda and that he was in enemy territory. No Americans are going to get hit by drones sitting at their computer in Florida. If you think "thats next", you're a fool. I don't care if he's an American citizen or not, if you're a member of al Qaeda, working in enemy territory, you are a legitimate target.

  • @athabascka

If he is a traitor then a trial by jury determines that according to our laws. He should receive punishment after evaluating the facts. Not because someone somewhere says he is Al-Qaeda. That is the American way. This is a precedent for futures killings of Americans if we allow it. If you trust the executive branch with dictatorial powers to ignore the Constitution and kill Americans then you are an idiot.

  • @alexerify1: As I've stated, a member of al Qaeda, in enemy territory, is a legitimate target. That should be obvious. No Americans need to worry, so long as they do not venture into enemy territory and join al Qaeda.

  • @athabascka there is no enemy territory b/c we have officially declared war on any state. Therefore, there can be no enemy combatants, just people who are engaging in criminal behavior. If you use this premise than cops would be able to kill suspects in criminal investigations. If you remove emotion out of the debate, it's pretty cut and dry. Since no charges were filed this was sanctioned murder by the administration, and one more step toward tyranny...not to mention illegal

  • @athabascka

If you think it would be limited to Al Qaeda and people outside the country you are naive. Janet Napolitano came out with an intelligence report ont errorist risks and it included "right wing extremists" and returning veterans.

From Washington Times, Thursday April 16 2009:

"In her statement Wednesday, Ms. Napolitano defended the report, which says “rightwing extremism” may include groups opposed to abortion and immigration, as merely one among several threat assessments. "

  • @ddickinson072 Not according to our founding fathers.

  • Or just incredibly stupid and paranoid

  • Why cant glenn beck answer the question directly? "If your own the battle field im going to shoot you!" what battle field is in yemen? When did congress authorize this. I used to agree with glenn beck but its obvious hes just a shill for the republicans.

  • The Americans didn't kill him, wasn't it the Yemen government?

  • what beyond this punk having the luck of being born on american soil makes him an american citizen? even if caught in yemen, yemen authorities said they would not extradite him to the u.s. because of his dual citizenship status. does anyone really think this dirtbag would ever step foot in america again unless it replaced the american flag with a flag honoring allah? here's an idea, once you step out of this country and starting declaring war on america, your citizenship is revoked.

  • God Bless, I simply cannot sit here and watch that fucking FRAUD Glenn Beck act like he's a Libertarian. This TURD was supporting George Bush and his UNCONSTITUTIONAL WARS just three years ago!

  • I agreed with Glenn then... not now.

search "Aww, shucks: another terrorist leader dead " on Glenn's site. He's changed his tune about killing americans without due process

  • Al-Awlaki wasn't one-tenth of one percent the threat to Americans that Americans' own government is.

  • @cavalier973: I will try to introduce a little more rationality to your statement. It is true that the chances of an American being killed in a terrorist attack is very small. However, it is also true that an American being killed by the US government is also small. It seems there are alarmists on both sides of the debate. The anti-government, libertarian alarmists, and the neo con, anti-terror alarmists.

  • @athabascka Saying "both sides are loopy" is not the same as "adding rationality".

  • @cavalier973: Rationality would be calming down the fools who think their government is worse than the al Qaeda death cult. Fighting al qaeda isn't about the danger they pose, although they do pose danger, its about stopping, punishing, and preventing mass murder.

  • @athabascka The gov't IS worse than the al Qaeda death cult. Compare the number of innocents killed by our gov't policies to those killed by al Qaeda, and you will see which is the more committed death cult. That's not loopy, nor foolish, just a realistic observation. The naive view is that Big Brother only arrogates power to itself in order to protect us.

  • @cavalier973: Since the end of the Cold War, the US govt. has reformed itself. It has used military power to save Kuwait, stop and punish Slobodan Milosevic, remove the brutal Taliban regime, remove Saddam Hussein. And in these recent conflicts, most of the civilians killed were killed by the insurgents. Unlike al Qaeda, the US does not target civilians, nor does it swear to a medieval cult of death advocating a stone age society, oppression of women, and the abolition of freedom of religion.

  • Maybe the government should have given that moron Beck the papers and had him serve them on Awlaki.

  • To compare Anwar al-Awlaki to an ordinary American citizen, is absurd. The Left and Right is in an uproar over the killing of a "known" terrorist leader. I didn't vote for Obama, but I give him credit for his increased Drone attacks, and his courageous killing of Bin Laden. WE are at WAR with these extremists, something the Left,AND the Right, better wake up to..

  • @Rain44maker I dont remember the US people being so squemish when their armed forces were butchering hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and Afghans. Now when a legitimate target is killed, a wannabe paki rambo who got others to get their hands dirty, they are all up in arms because he has a US birth certificate. I only have regard for civilians. This man was a recruiter. A recruiter for the US armed forces would be a legitimate target for Iraqi soldiers and this man was a legitimate target also.

  • @grimblebrumble17889 Even though he had connections to Al Quadi, the consitution clearly states an American Citizen has to have a TRIAL IN FRONT OF A GRAND JURY. Read the 5th Amendment.

  • @JCKustom13 I was in the British army for 12 years. I was in Northern Ireland. People who share a similar culture and a similar language to me. Indeed they are considered fellow citizens. Id still beat, humiliate and kill them if I was told to. Nationality means absolutley nothing. Getting the job done does. I dont remember the US being so concerned with legality regarding Iraq and torture and Guantanamo. Gestapo tactics are whats needed here. Dont be a coward.

  • @grimblebrumble17889 Well I never agreed with the war in Iraq either has Judge Napolitano, I never agreed with the Torture either. Either does Gen. Collin Powell or most of the US service. Its not being a coward its called following the Constitution, which is what the government is suppose to follow. Of course you mention Gestapo so I can tell your a Nazi troll.

  • @Rain44maker You better be very careful on this, it is more than just assassinating a terrorist. There is no time to be closed minded about this. America is in grave danger and so are you. You better stick up for your liberty and the constitution. Listen very carefully at what they are saying for it could happen to you innocently. Impeach Obama now I don't think we have time to wait for an election we have to slow the big machine up now.

  • You assume much.

Search: "UAV Predator / Reaper target destruction GCS (Ground Control Station) Operations"

Its a little more then pushing a button - but thats not the point.

I'll return to my original point about extradition. Cooperate with the governments to catch him. If they can see him with a camera in the sky, and drop a bomb on him then they likely know where he is. How hard is a phone call to Yemen's special forces to go in and get him? No risk on our part and no weaponry expense.

  • i would of went over there and shot that piece of shit myself and stuck a koran up his ass. These piece of shit gave up his American rights when he went over there and ran al-Qaeda. these 2 morons are like all the other idiots in media trying to make more of it than what it is

  • With each year that passes candidates and pundits sound more like Ron Paul.

  • Judge Napolitano is a good man, but Beck would be a nice Drone strike trophy. Kidding! This isn't the country I thought I lived in. Al-Awlaki was probably guilty, but that is not how this country's laws work. Atleast until lately. What's next?

  • fuck you glenn beck! if napalitano was any better he wouldnt have brought, this goof ball on his show! Glenn beck is only agreeing, its because its democrats doing it! he is the fucker going around scaring people about an Islamic caliphate! this nazi bastard had no problem with bush passing the patriot act! napalitano what the hell were thinking?

  • Why ask this asshole for his opinion?

  • wow glenn beck made sense!!!

  • If you Talk about changing the monetary policy and EndTheFED YOU WILL BE TARGETED!!

  • The GOP phony tea party is cheering the assassination.

  • @goodinohio

    Agreed!!

The Tea Party was started by Ron Paul supporters in 2007. It was a righteous movement in the beginning.

Unfortunately, right after Obama was inaugurated in early 2009, the Tea Party was taken over by psychotic blood-lusting bigoted Muslim-hating neo-cons. They've turned the beautiful message of liberty, freedom and personal reasonability into something ugly and perverse.

And the neo-con take over of the Tea Party was done in a rather calculated manner.....

  • @Ladykofnyc2 /2011/09/30/aww-shucks-another-terrorist-leader-dead/

go to glennbeck com and see Glenn say the opposite.

  • @Ladykofnyc2 You expressed that much better than I usually do :)

  • HOLY SHIT WTF!? I MIGHT JUST OCCUPY WALL STREET AFTER ALL..

  • The fraud of the man in the white house can only be cause by people like this being paid to hide the SS fraud and fake records!! Where is the outrage over those?

  • Get ready for the American king to yell, "Off with their heads!" when his subjects offend him. It's the same slippery slope, people.

  • Um, hello, how many people have wrongly died by authorities due to the war on drugs?

  • What are these people talking about? The government has killed people for decades. Patrice Lumumba, Che Gueverra, Fred Hampton... Branch Davidians even! They even helped kill Pablo Escobar. They are acting as if Obama is doing somethin new. Its the same ole game now a "black" president is showing that he is just as evil as the rest of them.

  • I generally dislike Glenn Beck... but he and the judge are right in this case...

  • First it will be Anwar Al Awlaki, then it will be other citizens living in America questioning the Government, then it will be other political assasinations and then! YOU WILL SEE A DEMOCRATIC DICTATORSHIP!

Do NOT! Accept Political assasinations! Do you not see the bigger picture? Is this the example the forefathers set? De-associate yourself and condemn not only in words but in action to assasinations of people by corperate whores who have not even been given a trail!

    RON PAUL FOR 2012!

  • This was another 1 of those Beta-Tests...to see how we will react, if at all

we better get loud and angry in the streets or the criminals in washington will continue to do this

but of course i'm for abolishing the whole federal government anyway

Side note:...1 of those 'Road Rangers' from StateFarm insurance stopped while i was on the side of the road, he asked me if i wanted help, i said 'no', he called Florida Hwy Patrol on me because I was "Rude"...exact words from the cops mouth

    wake up

  • whether or not Beck is a true tea party person or a flake is truly irrelevant right now. He carries weight among Fox News conventional republicans. Having him speak out against this assassination is nothing but a good thing.

Now you Paulites can do one of two things. You can look down your noise at Beck and talk about how much more pious you are then Beck in libertarian creed. Or you can use his words to warn the country that the President is using the terrorist label to KILL PEOPLE!

  • Watch some Awlaki videos on YT and you'll see why they killed him...he speaks truth.

  • Glenn Beck name's shoud not be mentioned in the same breath with Ron Paul. This is guy has been a butfoon for the Tea Party assholes for two long.

I did not hear Beck bringing up any of the during the Bush years. The Bush Years created all of this crap. Obama is just keeping the seat warm. As soon as another Republican is in the White House, Fox News will broadcast no more Freedom Watch. Especially Ron Paul! Repubicans DO NOT want Ron Paul. Hopefully enough of us others show up for Ron Paul,.

  • Glenn Beck name's shoud not be mentioned in the same breath with Ron Paul. This is guy has been a butfoon for the Tea Party assholes for two long.

  • These guys are ridiculous. If a Republican were in power, they'd support this 100%. Please. They should be ashamed of themselves.

  • @crubeo

You're probably right, if a neo-con Republican were in office, they would also support the dismantling of the constitution for temporary security. That's why Republicans AND Democrats need to wake up and elect a president that has taken a consistent stand in support of the Constitution.

  • @diggingforgold Ron Paul.

  • @crubeo Glen Beck probably, but not the Judge. Napalitano was an outspoken critic of GWB for a long time for all the unconstitutional shit he did.

They should definitely not be ashamed of themselves for pointing out how ridiculous this precedent is.

  • I have a feeling, if a republican government was in power, and assassinated him, Beck wouldn't have a problem with that...

  • @khetti2006 true but he speaks truth now. we dont vote for him we vote for freedom[ron paul]

  • @khetti2006 You're 100% right. The same old spin. Unreal.

  • only time i ever agreed with glenn beck...

seriously, how fucked do things have to be for glenn beck to be making sense.

  • Anwar Awlaki had never killed anyone in all of his life.

  • Listen gentlemen our govern MENTALISTS have been doing this terrorism for years not thanks to your tax dollars but the federal reserve lending cartel .

  • Sieg Fucking Heil. The Fourth Reich has begun. Better start making contingency plans.

  • @coolerthanmoney The Fourth Reich began in 1945....

  • @coolerthanmoney

No plans, just lots of guns and ammo. ;)

  • This is when all you can do is roll your eyes with Libertarians. The guy was a member of Al Qaeda. We were right to kill Anwar al-Awlaki.

  • @knight4justice All you can do is roll your eyes, because there's no justification. They could have held an absentia trial and convicted him, or gone in and captured him with boots on the ground to bring him back for trial. The government has no legal authority to decide who gets killed or not. Why fear putting him on trial? There's more to this story than they're letting the general public know and they're playing on your fears to get your support.

  • @28drako

its nice to know your eyes are open.

    damn, what does it take?...............

  • @28drako ur right, there is more to the story, he is a member of Al Qaeda and is hostile to America and it is proven beyond a doubt that he has participated in the planning of terrorist activities against America. That is what is being left out.

Why would you put boots on the ground in Yemen? no offense, but you would have to be the worlds dumbest person to try that.

  • @knight4justice Who proved this beyond a doubt? Apparently you do not believe in due process of law. Why were he and bin Ladin never charged with a crime? The burden of proof has not been met. What evidence do you have that he had anything to do with any of the attacks? I'm guessing none. The CIA almost always refuses to release any evidence about suspected terrorists.

  • Hitler claimed the power to kill people too.......of course he legitmized it through legislation....history repeats itself as long as a few secretive men may run things from behind closed doors.

  • Things are getting way out of hand. People will only accept significant change when they are fucked.

"The worse, the better" - Lenin

Of course, Paul is the opposite of Lenin, but his time has come.

  • You never know which glen beck your gonna get. Sometimes its the establishment republican beck other times its the libertarian beck. I think he's confused with what he believes in.

  • @rgiblin6 He is always in the opposite of Obama's policy no matter what.

  • @rgiblin6 I can completely agree with you, but for the last 6 months, Glenn has realized the ron paul is the right person for this country, I think he has become more libertarian, but he used to be quite inconsistent with his political philosophy.

  • This country needs Ron Paul more than ever before

  • @valmorgan Ron Paul should pick Napolitano for vice president.

  • @chrismsalas18 I would only agree to that if he wouldnt take a supreme court seat, i think we got so shoes to fill at the justice dept with the like of him

  • oh wait, he bitched about shutting down fox news, almost Beck, you were so close..

  • wow, glenn beck got it right for once??

  • they used to screen for muslim terrorists and now their patting your grandmother .

when will you realise your being set up again .

  • the precident has been set and you didn't even blink

  • FAKE-OUT .they leagalized assassinations of US citizens .they give you a softball by killing someone you think you hate . this is the first case and you will not stand up to fight for the rights of this guy .next YOU.

  • Our government has NO RIGHT to assassinate it's own citizens without charge or trial! This opens the door for them to kill any one of us that they consider to be a threat to them.

  • @therealanonymous1 Should we have invaded Yemen to capture him and bring him to trial?

  • @tjohn1986

You're not asking the right question.

You should be asking, do we drop bombs on a sovereign country like Yemen to kill an American terrorist?

If China had a terrorist here in the US, plotting against China and Chinese interests, would you want them to launch a program in our country that allowed them to drop a bomb on that guy? They may kill Americans in the process, or destroy our infrastructure, or both.

Does China have the right to do that?

  • @bigtex1453 Nope China doesn't and neither does U.S granted China co-operates and vice versa. Do we not have the right to pursue criminals in other countries? Yes we do.

You asked does the govt have the right to assassinate it's own citizens? It does if capture is not possible. It does if the alternative is invading Yemen.

  • @tjohn1986

What about extradition? Why is that not an option to work with foreign governments to pursue criminals?

Why is the argument an "either or scenario"? It is not even known if capturing was a possibility as our efforts have only been implicitly otherwise.

I disagree on the foolish argument that if we have yet to catch an American terrorist, the only 2 options are to assassinate him with drone missile strikes or invade yet another country.

There is a Constitution - and we've burned it

  • @bigtex1453 Didn't we extradite KSM? Didn't hear you bitch about it then. Don't we have Guantanamo full of terrorists that we captured?

No those are not the only two options. But those are the two options when we are at war. Quit your drama, you have no arguments.

  • @tjohn1986

I'll always argue for the Constitution.

I think that this country would be much better off if we did. Right now this government has done all it can to circumvent it. And its only getting worse. They creep further and further, push more and more.

At this point, whats to stop them from assassinating someone who just simply disagrees with the government's policies? There is no trial, no rule of law, no debate, no argument. Just a bullet. That is scary for both you and me.

  • @bigtex1453 Was Awlaki "just simply disagreeing"? Like I said quit your drama.

Why don't you fight the actual violations of the Constitution like the Patriot Act or mandatory health care?

  • @tjohn1986

Government unchecked expands exponentially. You and I are witnessing it. It's not drama - its fact.

As for me fighting the violations of the Health Care Act & the Patriot Act, why would you assume otherwise?

What evidence has been presented about this propaganda thug that we blew up? Just think about it for a second. What if you got pissed off one day because of something stupid the government did. They think that you're a threat, and add you to the list.

    Pzzzzzzt - headshot.

The whole point to the rule of law - is to *protect* the citizens. To give them their day in court. And if the court sees him for the thug that he is, and rightly decide, then toast the guy. But to do this without due process and or habeas corpus, is absolutely un-American.

We are governed by a Constitution for a reason. To toss it out the window, only leads to very bad unintended consequences.

  • @bigtex1453 For the last time it was not possible to capture him and give him his "day in court". Assassinations have been taking place since the days of letters of marque. That's what happens in war.

  • @tjohn1986

The only reason we could say that it was not possible to capture him is because that is what the government is telling us. With no documentation, no charges, no proof, no evidence, and no invitation to see these items, elicits a secrecy in government that should make every American very concerned. I have to kindly disagree with you here tjohn, this is the first time that this has happened to an American citizen. We'd go after *foreign* thugs with letters of marque & reprisal.

Think of it like this. If we can manufacture an unmanned flying surveillance plane, bring that material half way around the world, strap it with the latest camera, satellite, gps equipment, hellfire missile, perform that task over a foreign country, controlled by an operator in another foreign country, and communicated through Washington D.C., then pretty much anything is possible.

  • @bigtex1453 Nope not at all. This is why people shouldn't comment on things they don't know about. Flying a drone is literally pushing a button. Launching a capture mission in a country with no bases is completely different and extremely risky. What risk men's lives to capture someone when you can just kill him? I don't think so.

  • @tjohn1986 ... Apparently you knew where he was, you have the greatest fightin machine ever known to man, you were able to go into Pakistan (nuclear armed nation that has 1,000,000 troops) and kill Bin-Laden (Why you would not bring him back and put him on trial, baffles me). Logisiically this is much easier in Yemen. America is not a democracy anymore, Canada, Latin American and European countries are much freer than America.
