If you could find the play in the first half where Barkley is shoved out of bounds just as he's stepping out of bounds and no penalty is called . . . and compare that to when Mays shoved the ND running back out of bounds at the sideline and the unsportsmanlike penalty is called, it would be interesting to see the inconsistency of the officiating.

That late hit on Joe was so obnoxious. The penalties were so one-sided, you'd think Notre Dame paid off the refs. Notre Dame offensive line was holding on almost every pass play in the second half

And that Taylor Mays hit on Armando Allen was completely in-bounds, while you can see on the McKnight run he was 1-2 feet out already. Yet, Mays gets flagged and ND does not for the McKnight tackle.

ND's refs are worth about 10 points for every game in South Dump. Unbelievable how bad the refs were in ND's favor. That 4th and 1 spot was ridiculous.
