How to sync Traktor Pro and Ableton Live 8

I've got traktor running as a master and ableton as a slave, 2 different systems....it is syncing, but why is ableton running out once in a while BIG time...the sync is stuttering and then it takes the sync back again...Tried everything I suppose....HELP!!!!

all you need is one computer and one soundcard. traktor has a built in midi send, just create a generic midi clock send in the controller editor, select virtual traktor input in ableton, beatmatch the two metronomes with the offset and bam. search dubspot traktor ableton.

3. if you're going to use traktor just for short loops, why not just slice those up in Live as other clips for less work?

ye , but everytime you do press the global sync, you hear the "moving of the beatgrids", and if playing out loudly (in a club for example), it would be noticed as an inproper beatmatching, which sux. I guess traktor & ableton aren't on the right level of syncing yet, unfortunately.
