@LUC4SX94 there is problems bolt fall out very easly and ,ay leak oil or other key components i blew up my engine this way best thing u can do is put bolt glue on it

i totally agree, I ride 4 strokes, I am getting one with in the next two weeks an 09 250 sx-f. I have ridden 450s, 250r, 250f, 125. 2 strokes are fun but 4 strokes make a much better race bike because the power is always there, it sucks on a two stroke sometimes power band isnt rigth where you want it. and when you dont want it, its there, and your overbackwards or missing a landing ramp. haha
4 stroke the best i have a 4 stroke and i can tell u that it is much better than the 2 stroke ride bikes from the both sides and see which one is better ;)

well actually the 250sx-f feels faster and easier to ride (and it is). the power is linear thus can get more power to the ground whereas the 125sx has greater wheel spin in power band but slow in mid range revs, the 250's is a bit heavier but the low end punch from the motor renders it easier to get round corners and really it not that much more weight, well i think its more balanced than the 125, no tail whips over small jumps, easy 2 ctrl
Those of you bashings KTM's should think of the simple fact that they come with top of the line equipment on them as a stock bike. Such as the hydraulic clutch over the conventional cable clutch. KTM has consistently been winning peak horsepower shootouts against the other bikes time and time again, and if you think your bike has more HP then let us see a dyno chart to prove your statement. Fuck, KTM even made easier acces to the sparkplug for replacement purposes, in my eyes they are on top.
did you get that from a "pro" dealership.. i can see the stickers on the front fender.. i just got an 08 250sxf from pro griffin on the sunny coast.. i love it so much...
I have the exact same bike. Adjust your valves and get a JD jet kit. I also have an Oring connecting the acpump actuating arm to the throttle cam lever. it has zero bog and starts 1st kick everytime even when im racing and drop it. Check the valves too
Hey man Valves are so simple! ive been doing mine on all my bikes for ever! you never need to go to the dealer to have anything done. I can help give you some links to show you how. Takes like an hour for an unexperienced not too handy person to do it. I can doit in less than 20 minutes now.
Well yeah no trouble at all, except it hates cold starts, actually starting in general is a bit of a pain. once its warm its easier to start as you would expect but even then it may play up and not start, i find that if it stalls and its hot, i may need to shut the fuel off then kick it over a few time then it'll start... but aside from the starting issue there is no probs with the bike in my experience.
the starting issue may be valves gettem redone or adjusted my 2 buds i ride with have crf250r's and thats what they do when they need adjusting they have trouble kickin g them so they end up rolling them to fireem up.
hey dude will ur bike bog when hit the thottle really quickly. i ask because my 250 xcf kinda does and im not sure if it a jetting issue or the sxf is quicker revving
Hmm well this bike has no probs with bogging under power, the throttle response is one of the best I have ridden although some times that can be annoying on longer rides. Might be something to do with the air fuel ratio, or the jetting..

it's actually is in need of a service I'm not that confident in checking the valves myself so ill have to get a pro to do it (dealer).
