It lies beyond comprehension how people can be so easily fooled as to fall for the whole television preacher concept. Well, any preacher at all really, but how gullible is it possible to get? Apparently, pretty damn gullible. Only in America...
You'd think some of the thousands and thousands of people that filled out Peter Popoff's Prayer Cards would be suspicious that, only what they wrote down ---- was what he revealed.
Thank God for people like Randy. I am a magician & I've studied it for 50 yrs. Believe me when I tell you that "THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS MAGIC". It's all trickery...I know that people love "magic" & so do I. It's fun to see the expression on people's faces when I "trick" them. The people that really piss me off are the so called healers. Again it's nothing more than trickery, the power of suggestion, sleight of hand etc. Jesters have been around forever and there are still many knucklehea
I always thought the amount of attention Geller recieved was amazing. Even if he actually did posses paranormal abilities, at the end of the day all he was doing with them was bending spoons and seeing through envelopes.

@aigg Only in America? Then I guess you've never heard of Islam, or even every religion that was created over seas, which is pretty much all of them.

Even though he was a fraud, and deserved to be exposed, you can't help but feel sorry for someone being put in such an awkward position.

Those were the days... when Johnny could puff away at a ciggie during the whole show.
