  • I LIKE AFRICAN MEN

  • "I think I'll take a bubble bath". This is my F A V O U R I T E Pointer Sisters song. L O V E

  • Classy and Hot..!!!!!!

  • Still Hot!!!!

  • just found out the wrote this song about a quesadilla , they insist that you eat it while the cheese is still melted, thats why they say get it while its hot

  • God Bless MIss Ruth! She sure could wail out those songs.....Always loved the Pointer Sisters!! :)

  • They were at their sexiest here!!!

  • My parents loved the Pointer Sisters and they took me with them when they saw them in concert. I was a little kid but my mom always reminded me that the Pointer Sisters was my 1st concert. And even though I usually listen to Led Zeppellin and Pink Floyd and Mettallica; I still think theses ladies are awesome. They're so talented - they not only sing pop but also country, religious, rock and old school like the Andrew Sisters of the 40s. And I live in Bay Area so they're hometown girls!

  • even,dingen,klaarleggen,als,papers,beter,list,beegees

  • June was a crackhead

  • watch?v=Mw06xJ3et00

  • lv them! Miss good music... god damn they were good...

  • @ravenwhitechapel I couldn't agree with you more! Damn the Pointer Sisters were one damn good group!! I so miss them.

  • THIS IS ONE ROCKIN' GROOVE!

  • Pop music means "popular" which is what the Pointer Sisters were. They have just as much soul in their music as anybody!!

  • My favorite Pointer Sisters track.

  • Damn, now I want a Whopper!

  • It's sort of odd that this GREAT single flopped on the charts, especially after all of the huge hits they had from "Break Out". Maybe it was just not as uplifting and carefree as the other singles. Great song nonetheless ! I wish they'd remaster and release "Break Out" with bonus tracks. They did it with many of their albums as a trio.

  • @Cicilo1983 You're not kidding. That song had Top Ten written all over it. But, we also had to remember that 1985 was the Summer of Phil Collins, Whitney, Bryan Adams, Tears For Fears, Wham, etc.

  • SEXY spelled pointer sisters

    whoooohoooo

  • tuneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee xx

  • I love too from Roma ...........

  • this came out in 1982 man... ive got the record

  • @ClainDoleBoy your Kinda right ..the album this single came from was released in 1983..but the video and the song as A single did not come out tell 1985 (hence the video is from 1985)although this album was issued in 83 most of the hits made it to the dance floor in 1984

  • @pointersister Thanks for the info dogg

  • Just met the Girls in Sydney... They R still Smoking HOT !!! So great to revisit such FANTASTIC music from the 80's... Hope 2 C U when UR leaving... good luck with UR Gig in New Zealand..xoxoxox UR the Best !!!!!

  • A great song and a hot video.

  • I just downloaded this mp3 at audiogetnow..com

  • I remember this song on The Fall Guy. The pretty blonde Heather Thomas was strutting around to it.

  • my,fav by thses ladies i,have to sing along!

  • Always thought this was such a sexy video back in the day. Still is. RIP June Pointer. In my next life I want to be you.

  • Always thought this was such a sexy video back in the day. Still is. RIP June Pointer--in my next life I want to be you.

  • the views are the size of grand rapids mi....you all are so fly....go ladies from the 80's

  • total sleaze from the girls damn hot!! written by james ingram with barry mann and cynthia weill( you,ve lost that lovin' feelin'). with a nice stones like guitar break from paul jackson jr super session guy!

  • pretty good song pretty wound up. likey!

  • June was awesome and sexy !!

  • June's vocal tones sound so similar to whitney houston's tones early in her career. I wonder did that play an influence in whitney's vocal arrangements when she first started? The pointer sisters could turn any song out!!! RIP June, u always will be missed and remembered, thankyou for your brillant, unselfish music contributions that so many continue to be inspired by!!!

  • i love this song...you gotta be a woman who knows her shit to tell a man: baby come and get it...come and get it while it's hot...that's some cold shit. i love this song. i could listen to it over and over. i think the pointers sisters were definitely doing a subliminal sequel to i'm so excited. i'm so excited was good, but this song is ten times better. i must be confusing this video with i'm so excited because i thought the video to come and get it while it's hot was sexier than this one

  • @petercox9 the funny part is that a man wrote the song. The singer James Ingrams

  • OMG i haven't heard this song in long time im suprized that i remembered all the words X3

  • everytime i think pepsi i think pointer sisters ruth hair is out cold she looks so hot...

  • Classic song by classy ladies!!!!!! RIP JUNE.

  • I love these women.

  • @BionicPepsi they were the best. classy, they didn't need to sell sex, their music was awesome!

  • ......Talk about eighties sensuality :-)

  • LOL...go on...take your buble bath.

  • Wasn't this in a burger king commercial like fifteen years ago? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

  • @dadevi ha it sure was

  • @dadevi

Nah, you're right. Some time around the late 90's/early 2000's they used this. It was also around the same time they used Minnie Riperton's "Lovin' You," A Taste of Honey's "Boogie Oogie Oogie," etc.

  • How is it that I have never heard this song before?

  • Love this so much fun; so bloody sexy pant pant pant . . .

  • Was 13 yrs old, and loved this song and album. You go girls!!!

  • puts me in the mood for some burger king

  • Should have been a bigger hit. Perry should have released a radio edit of the remix. ANYHOW....June was the best..I think I'll take a bubble bath....

  • Baby come and get it baby come and get it Come and get it while it's hot!

I love their matching Jem & the Holograms dresses.

  • Why does it say '85 when this song was released in '83?

  • @JohnnySwitchblade The album was 83 but the video and single were 85.

  • @JohnnySwitchblade That's when the single/video came out -- 1985. It was on the Break Out album (1983) but was the very last single...in '85.

  • These ladies were my favorites!!! Check out the solid gold dancers dance to this song, it's like bitches in heat (-: when Pam and the girls dirty dance together!! OOH-LA-LA!!!

  • i swear Jem and the Holigrams or the Misfitz sampled this song

  • I think so too

  • @danarussell27

Ha Ha Ha Ha....I swear if it were any one of those cartoon girl groups it would be the Misfitz that did a similar version of this song ....this style of song is right up their alley.

  • Three of the most HOTTEST ladies ever

  • smoking hOTTTT!

  • Wow I remember when I had hair like that-actually I still do if I wash with Pantene-I will always love these sistas!!

  • you had the hair..I had the dresses!! I miss the 80's!!

  • This was a awesome song when it came out.

  • dont get this class of music now a days

  • fking dam cool track indeed

  • love me some June leadvocals

  • I never heard this Pointer Sisters song before.

  • not being funny or anything but is this song about being a prostitute?

  • THe imagery may be alot to take in! It's really about a woman's lust for her man and he can come to her and no need to go anywhere else. The video amped up the strumpet factor. It was a hot song!! very soulful and calling

  • Soulful not like that skinny worm Miss Ross.

  • lol

  • Love this such fun, happy funky song . .

  • This was my favorite video when it came out . . . the gurrrls rocked . . . their style . . . the dance steps . . . just awesome. Thanks.

  • The Pointer Sisters were more Pop than R&B and this song was always my favorite.

  • The editing on this was excellent . . right on the money!!

  • all "pop" means is that white people like it too....the sisters never strayed from their roots....

  • I did NOT mean to imply that the Pointer Sisters were straying from their roots. I just felt that their songs in the 1980's and 90's did NOT have the same R&B flavor that the sisters had in the 70's.

  • What do you mean it's the same flavar?

There is nothing wrong with none of their

songs, what's so ever. They have not

straying nothing. You either you like their

music, or you don't. Nothing less.

  • @sandralawson18 I love this song. You misunderstood me. I like The Pointer Sisters. All I said was that they had more of a Pop Sound than a R&B Sound doing the 80's. Why are you bent so out of shape about my comment?

  • forgive if I'm feeling msundersood by you,

and you are intydle to your opinion, as

you see fit, but it does sound like you're

    criticizing the Pointers Sisters.

  • Although sometimes, I did notice that June Pointers has barely got any lead

road in some of their albums. But, you

still can not change the past if you've

    want to or not.

  • racist bigoted bastard

  • what in the f**k is your moronic a** talking about.....on second thought....nevermind....i'm not interested in knowing.....peace out moron....

  • One of the greatest comments ever on utube.

  • Love this song. Funky and sexy. The Pointer Sisters wear that formula out for success and kept it R&B too. (Music instrument artistry, singing, lyrics) I think that's why we remember them. Doesn't hurt to be beautiful too. If they ever tour down south I will but my ticket

  • I think this was their last hit on the Billboard pop charts.I do remember this one.I LOVED it.The Pointer sisters were always so funky

  • That is so true....

  • Actually, "Be There" from "Beverly Hills Cop II" was their last hit to chart on the Hot 100 peaking at #42 due to mostly sales. It got as high as #33 on the sales side.

  • We love and miss you June! God rest your sweet soul.

  • funky chicks !!!

  • We do miss June but the fact is she died from being hooked on drugs which she used most of her life, yet again another wasted life from a great singer! The new line up is not the same without her!!

  • @tur74d56 she died from complications of a massive stroke and cancer. They did not know she had cancer until she suffered the stroke. She was in a coma and died in her sister's arms. Ans please, let's not forget the joy and smiles these ladies have brought into our lives through their music.

  • ohhhh yes love the best . .

  • Ooh yeah

  • Oooh...now I know where John Travolta & Ulma Thurman got that hand move across the face.

  • the music is too good to be true ... i hope it lasts and this is not Atlantis-Revisited. My favorite girls wailing it out .... they set the tone in the 70's, that's why guys from the 70's were SO SPOILED .... ha ha.

  • I get depressed everytime I watch this, I miss you June Pointer

  • @chain2fate i had no idea she passed until recently when i was on here watching some of their music videos, sad indeed.

  • @chain2fate I get depressed too but June had a lot of personal demons she could not conquer. The sisters had to decide to make her leave the group because she was missing performances and recording sessions. June once said that she was high in every performance, recording session , photo shoot - you name it.

I hope she's at peace now.

  • @chain2fate I have to agree!!! may she RIP!!!!

  • I used to love this video . . . great camera work!!! They had imagination back then . . .

  • I loved this song when it first came out, played it all the time,it was funky like their "Going Down Slowly" song from the 70's.

  • R.I.P to June Pointer

  • WOOF!!

  • never saw any video...and i dont think my niece had neither...well any way...i just remember my older sister turning to me when the 3 of us were dancing to this song...and she said...where did she (her daughter) learn how to do pelvic thrusts?...still cracks me up....my sis was prob 39 iwas 36,,,niece 10-11? not sure but ill never 4get it

  • one of the hottest videos of the 80's

  • Wow!

  • hard to believe they are daughters of a minister :)

  • Always loved that one! "Baby come and get it" was released in the early months of 1985.Then in July, the "Contact album" was released."Dare me" was the first single, followed by "Freedom" late in October 1985 and "Twist my arm" was the third single in the early months of 1986."Back in my arms" was released early in the spring of 1986.Of course, the order in which these singles were released may depend on which country you live in.But in North America, that's the order in which they were released.

  • Come and get it while it's hot. Why are they singing about pancakes for?

  • lmfao

  • Becuase waffles were taken, wiseguy. :)

  • sistas gettin stanky, luv it

  • Nice tune:)

  • i remember this being the last single released on the "Break out" album, then "Contact was released with "dare me" being the first single then "Freedom" second ,"Back In My Arms" third and "Twist My Arm" being the last single.

  • Rest in Peace June Antionette (Pointer) Whitmore November 30, 1953 -- April 11, 2006. She is the one singing lead in the middle. She was there baby sister. June's daughter Issa sings with the other two sisters now. The Pointer sisters still perform.

  • i had no ideal she pass away damm damm damm. i love all of them and i know they hurting.

  • They are so talented and a real part of American Music!!!

  • Actually, Issa is Ruth's daughter. June had no children.

  • Yeah, but I think what the poster meant was the three ladies in this particular video. Issa would be the granddaughter of ministers. Kewl. :)

  • Everytime I hear this song I crave a whopper burger!

  • The PS rock my box

  • I miss the Pointer Sisters. This is one of their very best, along with "Slow Hand" and "I'm So Excited"

  • I luv this one.

  • Nope. They were stars from 1979-1985.

  • shy is beautiful, this is my memory

  • i used to play this casette in my escort gt!! you know i was runnin thangs. i had an equalizer in mine, lol. too legit to quit.

  • The Pointer Sister singing the lead on this song - - - is she the one that died?

  • Yes...unfortunately she's the one that passed away from cancer in 2006. RIP June Pointer

  • i dont know

  • "Baby Come and Get It" was track 8 on the "Break Out" album.. Contact came out a few months after this single was released with Dare Me as the lead single.

  • This was on there Contact albulm which had the mega hit Dare Me! You are correct! This was a hot song at the time...still is.

  • It's not on the Contact album. I got the LP and it's not on it

  • It's on Break Out

  • this was 1985 not 1983. i remeber because it came out when twist my arm came out.

  • Twist My Arm came out in late 1985. "Baby Come & Get It" single came out in early 1985, but I'm not sure when the video for it was released (either late 1983 to early 1985 - Breakout lp was released in late 1983 and singles spanned bewtween late 83" to early 85")!

  • Baby come and get it baby while it' hot!!!!

  • Oakland, California to be exact..;)

  • these sistas was handlin it!! i always loved this song and the heavy bassline. i think its their best. automatic and shy are next. video wasnt bad, cute dresses and oh so colorful, im suprised arsenio hall didnt do a guest appearance. werent they from california?

  • Without Richard Perry's help, the Pointers would have disappeared for good. If it wasn't for his production from the late 70s-mid 80s in the post Bonnie Pointer years, they would not have had as many hits they sprung from "Fire" to "Dare Me"...From 1979-1985, the Pointers were on top of their game. I mean, which black group was able to chart higher in the pop charts than the R&B charts? The Pointers! A very smart business move on both Perry and Pointers. He brought them into superstardom.

  • OMG! I almost forgotten this song. How could I?

  • The remaining Pointer Sisters (Anita and Ruth, along with one of their daughters) are still performing, but nothing comes close to the hottest trio lineup of June, Ruth and Anita. This song absolutely rocks. June, love you, glad to have met you sweetheart, RIP. Bonnie, get your ass back with your sisters and give us some more hits, y'all can still do it and do it right!

  • What song of Prince's is specifically about booty calls?

  • Not really...Prince was really the first behind booty call songs since most of his songs were dedicated to sex and procreation...so the Pointers are not really the first at all.

  • Was this the first song about booty calls?

  • I'm gay, and they get me all Hot and Bothered....Baby.........

  • Possibly the greatest seduction song ever produced by a pop act....The fabulous Pointer Sisters burn it up with this hypnotic heater!

  • love them, love this video

  • June Pointer...she was battling cancer.

  • this beat is so 83...i love it....june is so hot here!...this is the video that got me hooked on them!

  • There hairstyles and clothes were hip for the 80's. I should know I was there :O !!!

  • one died i dont know which one

  • June-the one singing lead here.

  • June always wore the skimpiest 80s outfits ever.....

  • how old are you?

  • THEZE BITCHEZ WAS HOT, SON

  • i stole this tape off my neighbours mom, And refused to give it back!!! lol I was hooked on this tape for non stop! all of 1984 and 1985 lol

  • now thats what im talking about. they always do grreat numbers and vids.

  • slick and chick mmm

  • I love seeing grown women entertaining! Todays entertainment gives too many skinny lil' bitches w/ zero talent.

  • Damn, I miss the 80s!!! They just don't make em like this anymore!!!

  • yes this is one of the greatest pointer sister songs for me. sexy ladies but always classy, always gutsy. always present. I love the raw energy of their vocals. love the choreography too;) real cute.

  • I love this song. It make me feel good even I know it was about sex. It just light my heart up and said that June died but her legacy will go on forever!

  • I miss June. June was the fire.
