I wish you Christians would stop viewing Japan as collection of lost and desperate people. Their beliefs are rooted in philosophies and thinking far greater than Christianity could ever hope to be. The Japanese is better off without your primitive dogma and imaginary spectres.
@sweetsweatyfeet Christianity is not a bronze age fairy tale. It is a living breathing thing. Similar to science, theologians are finding new things everyday. Please look into something be fore you persecute someone/something. God Bless :)
@japanatic722 that last sentence was just a polite suggestion because you seemed uninformed. I wasn't trying to be rude. But if you took it that way then i am sorry :)
@japanatic722 There is nothing about Christianity that is remotely "similar" to science. Christianity is dogmatic, rigid and requires faith---science is dynamic, expanding, self correcting and concerns itself only with evidence and testing. The scientific method is the very opposite of faith based belief systems. Science is our gateway to understanding reality whereas Christianity and it's dogma is pure delusion.
Most Japanese view Christianity as cultish nonsense and with a kind of 'sideshow' curiosity. It's no wonder less 1% of the population is Christian, among the lowest in the world. The modern Japanese are too evolved for primitive mythology.
You obviously know nothing about what the Japanese people think and feel. They certainly do not feel hopeless or depressed; why should they? They are among the most peaceful, modernized, civilized nations in the world. Spare me your propaganda; you simply don't know what you are talking about.
You Christians are wrong about everything. Your Christianity is fraud and you judge falsely our nation and it's people. What ever you say, it seems the opposite is true.

Being a Christian is being loving and forgiving to each other. and accepting Jesus as Lord and savior.
please people dont judge christianity because of what you see and hear in america and there republican extremism.
being a christian is not making war and murdering and discriminating each other
there a big differents in being a christian and being a "american christian"

Japan is doing just fine, just leave them alone. They're much too evolved for bronze age fairy tales.

I hope one day you will be overwhelmed by the love of God and you will have your heart filled with joy.
Maybe, Jesus is trying to reach out to you~

I would have to empty my brain of rationality and reason for that to happen.

@sweetsweatyfeet I am not trying to be rude but if all that you're going to do is bash Christianity then why comment on a Christian video?

Every society has problems but Japan (currently) is one of the most peaceful, advanced, civilized, low crime rate countries in the world.
It should come as no surprise that they are also the most atheistic. There is a strong correlation indeed.

Don't you know?
There is also a HUGE suicide rate in Japan...a feeling of hopelessness. Jesus gives hope, live and His love to those to seek him.
