  • try to seek some advices from profesional doctors who have nothing to do with lasik/prk type of business

  • @Dzeath1 you dont need to worry about pain. If you experience it, its brief and wont last long. You need to worry about healing time and side effects. Healing goes upto 1 year (until you get satisfactory vision) and regression and haze is common. If you dont know what those mean, google them before you visit a surgeon

  • ur eyes dry? what do you mean you need 6 months to a year to fully recover? some discomfort or something?

  • thinking about laser thingy. this prk seems to take longer to heal and you feel more pain. im realy scared. but i want this miracle to see w/o glases again. good for you

  • @Dzeath1 You should avoid this surgery, lately too much questions about this procedure is on news and fda. Many people end up with bad night and lowlilght vision, belive me it sucks, I am one of them. They try to convince me its normal, all scans say surgery is done right, but i have catastrophic nightvision. Seems like random factor in surgery on our eyes, there should not be random factor and not be able to determine why is there a problem.

  • @Mario19676 actually i have done it already last summer. it wasnt prk. it was the lasik (where the cut ur eye abit). im happy with the results. was able to fully see the next day.the only problem is that my right eye is slightly weaker then eft one. need time to get used to it. they said its normal cos right eye was weaker before operation. altho it only like -0.25 more then left or or so. no side effects really so far.

  • @Dzeath1 WEll I guess luck was on your side, as I said, for now all scans show fine after, tear film back to previous one, and I see bad at night. So if all is right, what is wrong, that's what I wanna know. I can't get into my mind that this procedure is still going on if sme people end up with havled quality of vision and some don't. I want a reason for side effects and issues, no it just happens we don't know why, but we'll continue this procedure cause it prints money!

  • @Mario19676 yeah. they should be able to give u the answers. i mean they should know what they doing. if no, then they are shit doctors who only know how to push the button and take ur money.

  • @Dzeath1 yeap, this took a part of me, money, quality of vision, nerves, and I am a person with anxiety disorder...even suicide comes to mind now. I think we all trust these doctors in lasik industry too much, they are not causal doctors, or doctors in need, they are in lasik, private business who prosper. I don't need the money, I want to see clearly, I don't want the money.

  • good

  • Hi Bob, Glad your surgery went well. I am 54 yrs old and going next month for PRK.

I was told to prevent haziness and to help other stuff, I would be using Mitomycin and/or 5 flouracil drops. Are they the Magic drops you referred to in your previous video that slow healing? Thanks for the vids, they are very informative.
