@fleurgi Yes, pretty much any movie that Woody Allen has done after 1980 is recycled old garbage, with the exception of Matchpoint wihich I thought was going to be a turning point in an other wise tepid career of same old same old. Older man, young hot chick, mid life criss, lots of oy vays and stereotypical jewish rehtoric. Oh wait, it's the life of Woody Allen over and over again! Henry Cavil is not just eye candy and the Tudors prove it.

I would say the neither of them can act, but I've seen Hanry Cavill in The Tudors, and he really can act. So I'm going to put this down to shitty direction.
Wow, that was the most uninteresting scene I have ever watched. They both sucked...it was quite painful to watch. I like Henry so that's the only reason I watched it, but one thing's for sure. I'm never going to watch the rest of this movie.
Actually Henry can act but ERW cannot in certain roles. They have such an awkward chemistry and I think they're just not cut out for a Woody Allen movie.
Very very grim, chock full of outright hatred and intolerance, the potent nastiness then wrapped up in totally fake good feeling & shallow moralising. This film is not funny at all. I'm tired of the paedophile plot you see in a lot of WA films. LD is free to do whatever works for him in this film, but doesn't allow anybody the same freedom. You can hear the camera very loudly in several scenes and the yellow/green grading used in many WA films is like having a perceptual disorder.
@jdlaw001 As a matter of fact let him just be in it on his own. No offense to Evan Rachel Wood, but I mean he just should be allowed to do five minute monologues so I can hear his voice and gaze at male perfection.
If the words "I dreamt about you last night" came out of his mouth and he was talking to me, I wouldn't be able to form sentances. XD Just giggled like a moron XDD
I love Henry, He's a very sexy man and his voice is heartmelting :D
