  • I agree, an amazing story! I really enjoy your vids sir. As a guy who grew up in Brooklyn (Flatbush) myself (born in '55), It hits very close to home. Although I'm not italian, I had many friends who were, some with ties to the Mafia! God bless you.

  • you were made first?

    first?

doesn't say much about being a stand up guy.

Are you free of your past or do you live in the ashes?

  • Just came across your videos by chance - You sound a really interesting and intelligent man -

Good luck in everything you do.

  • I heard you on Jim Rome probably over a year ago. Great story. The insight is interesting as hell.

  • Your a really amazing man. I came by your name reading Wikipedia and looking up the history of Donny Brasco. I had never heard of you. Checked out your site and have been watching your videos on youtube now for over an hour.

I am dumbstruck by what you have accomplished with your life. Makes me look at my own and find it very lacking in comparison.

  • I appreciate your comments. I have been extremely fortunate, very blessed to have good people around me and God in my life. No need to feel lacking in any way. Be encouraged that if my life can get on track, so can yours. Glad you enjoyed the videos. Stay tuned. We should be updating soon. Thanks!

  • Did you ever meet sammy gravano, and was he as bad as they say he is?

  • I have met Sammy. He was not one of my favorite guys. Not sure what you mean by "Bad." We all behaved badly in that life, myself included. Fortunately, we serve a God who knows our hearts and who forgives those of us who truly seek His grace and forgiveness... Thank you!

  • I unfortunately missed the interview you had with Jim Rome. I wish I would've been able to hear it. The day after your interview with Jim, he played some clips from the interview and it was fascinating. I hope you can go on his show again soon.

  • I appreciate your comments... Jim is a great guy. He has a genuine concern for issues that effect sports and people in general. It was nice of him to allow so much time on air to discuss the gambling issue. I'm sure I'll be visiting him again soon... Take care!

  • Hi i´m a 16 year old guy from Sweden and i must say,i read The godfather,Cosa Nostra and many other Mob-books and i was wondering.

  • Glad you enjoyed the interview. I always enjoy spending time with Jim. He's a class act. Really cares about the gambling issue. know that I appreciate your comments...

    Thank you! --- Michael

  • Im sorry the last comment became so long.

PLease answer this one if i spell it correctly, the "Don" Rank or Boss wasn´t that rank called in the old days(i read this on Cosa Nostra)Capo di tuto i capi??

I´m not sure if its that, other than that youré doing a great job telling about youre former life and all that(im sorry if my english isn that great)and i hope youre having a continueing great life, one mroe thing though, what is a "Skipper"??

    Regards

    /Elkabeln--Robin

  • The term "Don" was really used more in the movie, The Godfather" then in reality. The boss of a family was "The Boss." Capo di tuti capo was a term applied to Carlo Gambino who was considered the boss of all bosses. Not really true either. he was the boss of his family only, but had alot of influence. A "skjipper" is a caporegime or captain... Thanks!

  • Yeah,of the Gambino family,i read up on thoose books,Wiseguy and Gotti,Rise&Fall

  • this guy is great he tells it like it is he was on jim rome wednesday talking about gambling beware of gambling like i said this man is great he turned his life around much respect

  • I appreciate your encouraging words... Thanks you!

    Michael
