The term "Don" was really used more in the movie, The Godfather" then in reality. The boss of a family was "The Boss." Capo di tuti capo was a term applied to Carlo Gambino who was considered the boss of all bosses. Not really true either. he was the boss of his family only, but had alot of influence. A "skjipper" is a caporegime or captain... Thanks!
