  • Absolutely one of my favorite duos, their voices just play off of each other so beautifully.

  • Wonderful memory, fine musicians.

  • Hey, A "One Toke Over the Line: The Best of Brewer and Shipley", and a combo "Weeds" and "Tarkio" cd are out there. Enjoy the treat

  • Savrseno.

  • My least favorite B & S album is "One Toke" and that's the only one available on CD.

Go figure. They have a great catalogue. Way under rated.

  • They had an album with no name, just the album serial number, 117261 around mid seventies. I always like that one.

  • Saw "Brewer and Shipley"here many years ago,I believe that they were the opening act for either Harry Chapin or Gordon Lightfoot. I had no idea they were still around.Great music from a simpler time.

  • I would do anything for these guys to come to South Australia. Their music is my daily life.

  • Thanks for putting this up--have to make one correction--it's Tom Shipley, not Jim. Otherwise, Kudos to you!!

  • Great to see/hear them again--they still are amazing. Saw them several times back in the day....

  • Too bad they didn't use the drunk filter when they recorded this. My roomates wore this album out back in the 70's in college. Great music!

  • Too much talking in the background,,, drinking cost this audience one hell of an opportunity to hear a classic great... Hey GUYS, if you see this post, come on back to Jersey for one show!!!

  • They opened for the Eagles in San Diego in 1974 and blew me away. Great harmonies. Great songs. A great opener for this new group called the Eagles.

  • These guys rule!

  • They could have been acoustic somebody, but a bad excuse for John Peppers Grandfather chant.

  • One hit doesn't make them "legends", which no doubt we would have ignorned if it didn't have the word "toke" in it. Lame version of Witch-Tai-To here, too.

  • If you knew anything about this band you would not question their amazing talent. Just because the stupid mass media radio stations only picked up on one of their songs does not mean they are not legends. You have to quiet your little mind and listen to the music and the words...which are wonderful. Sorry this is a bar recording because there are so many drunks there they have missed a great performance. LOVE YOU GUYS BREWER AND SHIPLEY....SO PROUD OF YOU!!! Find some old complete recs -enjoy!!

  • I guess THC does cause brain damage

  • You would know.

  • I am with you!!!

  • Everybody in the bar should shut up and realize they're in the presence of two awesome legends.

  • AMEN!!

  • my sister turned me on to these guys in about 1970.....cult heroes, for sure.....wish they had created more stuff together...

  • Oh yes ! 5 stars for sure .

  • great vid, great cause, great duo
