Wow that really sucks. I just put a new ssd in my g73 because bf3 was eating so much of the 80 g. Thank god the transfer went okay. I don't know what I would do if that happened to me. @TheScrubmuffin69 (Solid state drive). They speed up your operating system. Runs much more efficiently then an HDD. The problem there though is that you get significantly less space as opposed to a hard drive. I actually have both in my laptop so that I can take advantage of both. My os or windows along with all utilities run on the ssd and all my media (mostly games) gets loaded up on the HDD. Also, since there are no moving parts within a ssd I think they are more reliant.

Enjoyed it! I like to hear about ways people are finding to use the less popular gadgets. I think I (and maybe others) tend to give up quickly and move to other gadgets if we find something doesn't immediately realize a payoff. The EOD bot is a good example in my case.
