how bigs is the world is it like elder scrolls big ?? or like fable sized , cuase i like to do alot of exploring in RPGs soo if someone could tell me would be very helpful and very much appperciated

It's not very big. From afar it looks huge. But you'll only be able to play in certain areas. You're not allowed to wander unhindered from one side of the continent to the other. You have to 'travel', which is just a word for instancing. It's very much a closed system. Nothing like Elder Scrolls.

Don't get me wrong. The game is fun. But it's nowhere near as big as they made it seem. I'm waiting to see how big DA2 is going to be.

Depends really. I'm a PC gamer and I'm used to "getting more" from my games. DAO didn't really deliver anything special. It was a high end console release that was ported to PCs. If you're buying it for your console, then I'd say you'll be happy you did. If you're buying it for a PC, I'd say pass.

@LordBLB same.. i was disappointed with the port.. good game though.. fun story. Not enouh random encounters.. i felt like i was playing 10 different games.. all rolled into 1.. Secret of mana.. ff-tactics... and on and on..

hope they come up with a new story line for Dragon age. I really enjoyed playing it, and Fereldan is an amazing place.

I hope they included other places like Antiva, Orlais, Nevarra, and more....
