I had this idea a while after I saw the MoP trailer:

What if we have a continuation of that expansion and make it a South Seas expansion? The leveling zones would be Zandalar (90-92) and the underwater zone of Nazjatar (92-95). The first patch could bring a raid where we bring down King Rastakhan, the 2nd patch could bring a raid where we take down Queen Azshara, and at the end it would foreshadow to a patch where we take down the Old God who corrupted her, N'Zoth.

Who thinks this'd be great?

@pie2413 Rastakhan had nothing to do with Rise of the Zandalari. His envoys didn't like the idea of the zandalari bringing back the enemy forces.

@pie2413 actually, if I recall, on blizzcon at the map, I remember there being an island with something along the lines of zandalari, so there's a big chance we'll meet up some trolls

@DarkArkadia That had the word "Zandalari" on it, but it was faaaar too small to be the actual island of Zandalar.

@pie2413 Yeah, it'd be great. But at that rate, what type of gods are going to be left to kill? If our characters were able to get to a level where they can kill N'Zoth, it would just be ridiculous, and we would run out of main antagonists. FAST.

@ZexiontheVIth There are countless more unnamed Old Gods dwelling beneath the surface of Azeroth. N'Zoth was even revealed to be the Emerald Corruptor, so maybe a fight with him could lead to an Emerald Dream expansion.

Oh, and we've got Sargeras, the Nathrezim Brothers, Kil'Jaeden, and other Burning Legion leaders; maybe our final expansion could be based on Argus, the capital of the Legion's forces? Last boss could be Sargeras, and Aggramar comes with his half of Gorshalach and imprisons him.

@pie2413 Still. it sounds epic, but killing every single deity out their for the sake of a new raid to come out seems to leave a rather bad taste in lore.

@pie2413 Exactly. My fear is that if they keep amping up the tiers of the bosses as they are now, it's going to get to that point to where it starts breaking the lore.

@ZexiontheVIth That's why I, personally, hope they take advantage of the plank lore slate that is Mists of Pandaria to introduce plenty more villains and plot hooks, so we're not out killing every deity in the lore just for the sake of raid content.

What I never understood: Although he had a big a appereance in the trailer and also on this wallpaper Hakkar wasn`t really a centerpiece of those dungeons.

But probably it is a way for Blizzard to re-introduce ZG and ZA in new versions - I think we`ll ge another version in some years.
