Well in my opinion Hayate and Athena would make a perfect couple. She is the one who made Hayate the way he is( his strength and everything). And they were actually showed to be in love with each others not just some crush. He kissed her three time BTW.

I Thin this is the Opening 3 version because the 2nd one has in the middle of the scene by: 0:55 was that they had the Duel butler some cover guy from B-daman in the 2nd opening.

Anyways its still a good show with Nagi and Hayate.

I just realized that this isn't technically the second opening. Some of the scenes in this one I haven't seen on the opening I'm on. Not to mention that while it's using the same song, I think it's using the other verses.

first opening is Hayate no Gotoku! (ハヤテのごとく！)" by KOTOKO (eps 1-26) and second is Shichiten Hakki*Shijō Shugi (七転八起☆至上主義)" by KOTOKO (eps 27-52) and i see a really really big difference in the song from the first and the second

Yes I know this is the second song, completely different from the first, but I was just saying how the scenes are different from where I am in the series (around ep 30-ish), and that the verse in the song is different from where I am, but it's still the same song.Kinda like what the did with Code Geass every now and then: keep the same song, just change the scenes, only in this case, the verse has changed, too.I might be wrong, but my computer's acting up, I cant check myself

I don't get it... This anime's awesome yet not that many people know about it! I actually like it a lot better than The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya... In my honest opinion I don't think Haruhi would be half as popular as she is now without that Hare Hare Yukai dance...

In all honesty this anime is actually popular. Just not highly spoken of. Everyone and their mum knows about The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Everyone and themselves knows about Hayate no Gotoku. I think it could reach occult status on Animesuki, maybe. Hehe.
