  • That's fucken awesome.

  • PEW PEW PEW

  • Great job in video defining / showing what a tracer is! Don't care what other people think about your posture they must be Gay!

  • With that crappy stance he probably wouldn't hit a target 10 feet in front of him.

  • Amazing posture.

  • @Orion688 you're kidding right? what is with that stance? it's like he's in mid step.. and he's leaning away from the gun like he's afraid of it. If anything, you're supposed to lean into it slightly, with the feet about shoulder width apart at a slight angle. Sorry, i'm a frontsight student so it's just in me to critique! besides that cool vid

  • Looks like a 50 cal trace

  • pew pew

  • Do these travel slower as regular bullets?

  • @MaartenOwnd No, tracers do not fire any slower than regular bullets. These bullets look slow because it is actually a slow round. 45ACP shoots at about 900 ft/second. This is slow compared to a 5.56 round fired out of a M4 or M16 which goes about 3,000 ft/second.

  • @HunterKiller87 Thankz bro!

  • looks like something straight out of star wars xD

  • cool you "pack-a-punched" a usp

  • IM FIRING MAH LAZOR!

  • putting a lot of tracer ammo into any weapon system = blown up weapoon system lol... seen it happen whena guy loaded 10 tracer rounds in the M4, shit just exploded.

  • Shitty grouping!!!

Rounds are all over the place.

Not a safe way to fire a weapon. Control is not in his vocabulary.

  • @triplexchuck Not a safe way to fire a weapon? Just stay away from guns, you are paranoid.

  • seriously light loads on that thing. a pellet rifle puts lead out faster than that. oh, and please take a shooting class before buying a firearm, learn from this moron and dont put yourself and everybody else in danger

  • @crazy0ace1 How is he putting people at risk? Please explain. I hate it when people put their elitist gun comments yet leave no explanation or reasoning behind them. The guy shot some tracers. There was no one in front or to his sides. He didn't point the gun in an unsafe direction, and he had a nice tight grip on his handgun and it never went out of control. So what's the problem? What are we supposed to learn from "this moron?"

  • @LORDEZE7 his stance is horrible, and he has very little control over the firearm while hes shooting as fast as he can. even though he may have not directly endangered a person in this video my warning was to the people watching the video that dont know proper firearm safety. not knowing proper firearm safety can quickly lead to injury or death. I myself have been at the range when a person next to me racked the firearm with their finger on the trigger and the bullet hit the brim of my hat.

  • Remember "Tracers work both ways".

  • simply a must-have item

  • cool

  • pew pew

  • are tracer rounds slower than bullets or do bullets actually travel that fast?

  • @ZeroG004 Tracers leave a very long streak of the color. The average 9mm round travels at about 1100 feet every second to further elaborate on your question.

  • @iowaworker soooooooooooo....?

  • You're arching your back a little bit too much... just saying.

  • Have fun burning out your barrel.

  • all over the map. ; p

  • What type of tracer are u using?

  • fukin lazer gun o and wtf 1 of the bullets bounces off ground at 00:8

  • @Dumperandthumper good eye!

  • @Dumperandthumper because he cant control the gun

  • fukin lazer gun

  • great vid! don't try this in the desert kids - for obvious reasons

  • Oh nvm its the color powder sorry

  • Tracer rounds are red so u got ripped of buddy

  • shouldd hsve alterenated every other round tracer and went on a night shoot...

  • oooooo pretty lights lol

  • Luke, use the force!

  • the 45 is so sloq you could probably dodge it

  • @Mirind0R Stand in front of mine and we'll find out.

  • @Jrhoney okay but then we swap and you dodge my .308 rem700

  • gotta love those bullets :D try them at night :D

  • do these bullets fly as fast as the regular ones

  • is it lethal?

  • @dying2l Of course they're lethal, they're bullets too

  • @LuyenDarkness air soft pellets can travel over 750 fps and I have no idea what it is made out of. Looks pretty...

  • @dying2l That's not an airsoft gun mate

  • @LuyenDarkness Not if your playing with cheap toys, some airsoft competitions limit the guns to 500 or 700 fps.

Tracers are not very accurate and if they are lethal it makes it a useless movie prop. Oh yeah blanks are bullets too...

  • @dying2l I meant the gun in the video isn't an airsoft gun.

  • @dying2l air soft pellets cant travel at over 700 fps.not only would that be illegal, but also impossible to achieve, even pre-ban.

    maybe you meant pellet guns?

  • Very nice sidearm.. I was able to cycle a couple hundred sounds through one a few weeks back. Zero malfunctions

  • the bullets looked like they were goin slow as hell lol

  • What exactly is a tracer and how does it work?

  • @Allanlegacy43

tracer bullets basically make a burning powder after you fire it to make the bullet visible enabling the shooter to adjust their aim, Squad leaders could use tracer rounds to mark targets, and soldiers can put one of two tracers at the bottom of their magazine to alert the shooter their their almost out of amo

  • @koolaid2468 Ok thanks!

  • @Allanlegacy43

it is a regular round/bullet with a firework-like (I'm simplifying) type pad attached to the bullet that is ignited upon firing.

  • @derekste totally wrong it's activated be air friction but w/e

  • @Allanlegacy43 Tracer rounds have a chemical that burns upon the shell being spent in the chamber, there are varients to this as some tracers ignite from air friction. What they do is they make a visible streak of light as the bullet travels.

They are used mostly for machinegunners and platoon leaders. A typical machinegun would have a tracer round every 4 shots to mark where his rounds are going, platoon leaders would fire bursts to signal where they want their soldiers to fire.

  • @Allanlegacy43 the soldier use tracer rounds when they want to be spotted by enemy snipers...

  • @Allanlegacy43 a tracer round is a bullet coated in a phosphorous, and sulfur layer, so when the cartridge if fired, it will ignite in a dull white/yellow glow

  • @Allanlegacy43 Copy from Wiki for you - Tracer ammunition (tracers) are bullets that are built with a small pyrotechnic charge in their base. Ignited by the burning powder, the phosphorus tail burns very brightly, making the projectile visible to the naked eye. This enables the shooter to follow the bullet trajectory relative to the target in order to make aiming corrections.

  • that was rad.

  • Why is he leaning back so much?

  • @Rondavidlewis Nope. The light comes from the core of the bullet, like a sparkler in the core. It emits a trail through a small hole in the rear of the bullet. These show actual speed. 45 is a big fat slow bullet.

  • Stormtroopers use these...

  • sweeeeeeet!

  • Do they have these kind of bullets for a .22 lr. With the green tracers?? Just wondering.

  • @rsundertakkerr yes check out cheaper than dirt

  • @Rondavidlewis

I doesn't have anything to do with what your eyes see. It's the camera thats seeing. You can stop the film at any time and see the trails.

  • i thought a 45 would be faster i feel like i can dodge the bullets

  • @itinkgirlzhot12 No, .45 ACP are actually slower than .22 LR due to the weight of the projectile.

  • Set .45 on phaser!

  • Pause video. Press 6. Lazors!

  • OMG just like a video game you see bullets flying

  • It is amazing how slow the .45 round really is! It sure is fun to shoot though.

  • chuck norris could have a cup of coffee in front of those slow bullets before they would be even near him

  • set your phasers to kill lol

  • LOL its a star wars gun

  • It should have laser sounds.

  • damn rebles are at it again

  • lol its star wars pistol

  • @TracerNeo cough* blaster cough* um sorry its a reflex...

  • WTF? since when were bullets as fast as BB pellets?

  • @mrFragaz Airsoft guns can easily go up to 500 feet per second, while .45 ACP (the one in the video) is usually around 1000 feet per second (just enough to be subsonic.) Therefore, the bullet of the real gun only travels at double the speed of an Airsoft gun.

  • @mrFragaz Not uncommon, especially when talking subsonic ammo (the kind that are less noisy). While BBs from an CO2gun might travel at aprox 600 fps and dont do much dammage, a real bullet (.45 ACP or .308 subsonic in example) with the same speed will do pretty good damage to a target.

  • pew pew pew!

  • why does it look like its flying kind of slow?

  • @aaronlin52 Cuz the 45 fires big fat heavy bullets at a slow speed, a 9mm is differrent, it fires small skinny bullets at a fast speed.

  • @nicxtrem21... Yes. They used tracer rounds in star wars. I'll give you a dollar of you can tell me how many extras and stuntmen they shot for the sake of the film.

  • Is the USP full metal, or is it a Polymer gun?

  • @PSPmaster321 It can't be 100% metal, or it'd explode after a handfull of rounds being fired

It's chamber, barrel, and the pins and screws are metal (And, of course, the springs) and I'm fairly sure the slide, frame, trigger, trigger guard, etc are polymer, kinda like a glock

There's a couple parts I'm unsure of tho

  • @NeedLessPopMusic uh the slide and barrel are definitely metal

  • @FarP321 Did I not say the barrel was metal?

    Wait, nvm, noticed a typo

Meant to say "It can't be 100% polymer"

But I still did say the barrel was metal

  • @PSPmaster321 The slide and some of the other parts are metal, the frame is polymer though.

  • @PSPmaster321

    USP has a polymer frame.

  • I think theres alot of perspective distortion in that vid, how far was it from shooter to dirt mound?

  • It always look like it's going slow

  • do tracer rounds have lower FPS?

  • Ricochet Kills!

  • Was tracer bullets used in Star war?

  • love^^ how they jump of the ground ^^

  • Looks like a fucking lazer!

  • Cool!

  • Awesomee

  • star wars?

  • Because theyre tracer rounds, are they slower than conventional rounds? Just looks like theyre a lot slower because you can see them. Almost looks like you could dodge one if it were flying at you (not recommended)

  • @Treembea What you're seeing is the cast-off incandescent material, not the round itself. It's moving a bit slower than the round it's fallen behind. Notice how when the one round hits low and ricochets up, the trail abruptly shortens and intensifies. Dodging those at a thousand feet per second leaves you maybe a tenth of a second to react at the distance that berm looks to be. .45 ACP is pretty low-speed, but not slow enough to play chicken with.

  • @SelkitFox yea, like I said, not recommended

  • that's hot.

  • pew pew peww

  • 0:08 Boing!

  • Ramirez you gotta aim down your sights! ;D

  • lasergun pew pew

  • thats cool, going to have to buy some of those this weekend.

  • Star Wars?

  • fucken sick. its like mixing star wars with real life. do tracers fire at similar velocities to regular rounds?

  • The H&K USP is a better pistol than both the Glock and the Sig, if you ask me.

  • @r6erik Ok, what information have you considered to arrive at this conclusion?

Just curious, without supporting information, your claim is tantamount to someone saying: Green is a better color than red.

    Thanks

  • @commonsense369 Like the end of the sentence says: " ... if you ask me." Just my personal preference. Glocks have terrible sights on them and the ergo's are garbage. I'd take a Sig over a Glock. But again, H&K makes nice stuff and I'd take a USP first.

  • @Fox11010 You do realise that would give away your position right? Tracers work both ways.

  • *insert pew pew noises* :D

  • I like the guy in the background. "Let him fire this-WOAH! AWESOME DUDE!"

  • @Fox11010 - that is the dumbest comment I have read on youtube. I bet you'd think it was star wars when rounds were cracking all over you for real. Grow up mate.

  • how far away is that berm? Or are those rounds really not travelling that fast?

  • @MrSlowSkyline 45s are very slow in the firearm world BUT not even close to as slow as they appear in the vid, the tracer compound can only burn so fast so you see the trail of where the bullet has already passed. or its just the video camera making the delay, but generally a .45 round goes 550+ mph even though its slow in gun standards, its still very fast none the less. anywho i'll shut up this post got bigger than i intended lol

  • Wow, .45's do go pretty slow, lol. You might even be able to dodge them at that distance if you had the tracers and cat like reflexes.

  • @zZrEtRiBuTiOnZz a standard 230gr, FMJ .45 generally goes about 840fps, which is i think 577mph , good luck dodging that , if you arent hit then the shooter just missed =P

  • @EpioneEQ I wasn't serious dude, I know exactly how fast they go. I own quite a few .45's, as well as an assortment of other guns. I was just observing how slow they appeared.

  • @zZrEtRiBuTiOnZz ahh no problem, hope you didnt take me to serious either to an extent, im not trying to be the know it all i just try to let people know about misconceptions with firearms so they know whats real and just movie myth etc. Take care : )

  • awesome!

  • that is fucking cool

  • I would love tracers, but, I live in New Jersey, where everything fun has been outlawed. I owned a Mossberg 590 pistol grip, it was seized, because according to NJ law, the pistol grip, and bayonet lug made it an assault weapon!

  • i just bought a 20pcs pack of 7.62x39 tracers.. ammo is so yummy..

  • laser gun pew pew pew pew pew pew pew pew!

  • Trace rounds were purchased at: bigdogammo, com

Please support this endeavor by clicking on the sponsor links! Thanks!

  • Where did you get those tracer bullets?

  • @sleirylover see reply above!

  • Ahhh.. Nothing like shooting tracer rounds in morning with a USP.45. Thing of beauty.

  • WICKED!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hahah! It's incredible how slow they seem to go. When I see them glint in the sunlight on their way to the target for a split second, they're moving so fast, but if you see them going the entire way, it seems slow.

  • @RADIOACTIVEBUNY lol, let them whip by your head at that speed and they'll feel just as fast ;) it's all relative.

  • arnt tracer rounds illegal?

  • @xboxlivegstar11 Why would they be illegal? They just leave a cool looking trail of light behind them. They can be incendiary, but only if you fire them at highly flammable stuff.

  • @TheEloeo dont really know maybe fire risk and a help there a big help for aiming reasons not good if its a terrorist shooting you

  • looks sick

  • If I moved to America would I b able to buy a gun or do u have to have citizenship or sumin like that

  • @co61989 no you can buy one. You cant buy fully automatic firearms without a license same with a suppressor

  • looks like one bullet hit the ground in front

  • many good frangible ammo options out there as well as hp's

  • you can get .45 acp magsafe ammo for home defense, over 2000 thousand fps and 900 fpe, or some glaser silver

  • @pjicleanair420, A .45 at 2000 feet per second??? Where can I find that drug you're on? Total Bullshit!

  • @robs104 mag safe ammo, check it out stupid

  • @pjicleanair420 I am sincerely sorry! I totally forgot about the whole pre-fragmented, light as a feather safety slug crap. I will check my facts next time before insulting someone.

  • @robs104 glaser safety slugs make great ammo if you have a clear line of sight, i understand jhp are a better choice for everyday carry but in a home defense situation with family or neighbors close by where penetration might be concern frangibles are a good choice

  • @pjicleanair420, Amen to that, i've run some cor-bon powRball through my HD beretta but didn't test it against barriers (too expen$ive) just some playing around with them.

  • @robs104 yea i have some powerball in 40 s&w, and run black hills and thunder ranch through my usp tactical 45acp

  • @robs104 Well, technically, it wouldn't be out of the realm of the possible if it utilized a really, really, light bullet. Like a non commercial grade, made-it-your-self type of thing.

  • @pjicleanair420 try 950 fps and 460 foot pounds of energy. at point blank.

  • @elitesack depends what ammo you use, all about ammo not chambering

  • @elitesack Just like I was, you're wrong check their site. This is taken directly from it:

    "2,260/771 - S&W 4506". 2,260 (fps) 771 (ft/lbs) fired from a smith & wesson 4506.

  • @robs104 LOL WOW next time dont get your information from a SCAM site.

  • that site you point out robs104 is suggesting you can put the same pressure o n a .45 acp cartridge that you can with an upper level'ed .45 long colt fired from a heavy modern gun. its sites like that, that end up getting people killed, and when they ship you a box of standard 800 fps 220 grain jhp bullets in .45 acp that generate 420 foot pounds of energy they laugh all the way to the bank.

  • @elitesack, I have not independently chronoed these loads and am only going by a REPUTABLE company's site. I do believe that those speeds are quite possible with the weight of the projectile. At 68 gr. I would think that even a .45 cal. loaded to +P could be pushed to that speed. Magsafe's site is not a scam, this company has been around for quite a while. Also, (not trying to be douche-y here) standard weights for .45 HP's are 230, and 185 you prob. just typo-ed. Just go ranger-t if in doubt!

  • i live in Nora Springs and go shooting at the range all the time...Dont you just love Iowa? :)

  • How much are those awesometastic rounds?

  • PEW PEW PEW LAZAR!!

  • How far from the "wall" were you?

  • it's funny how slow bullets look this way. also an advantage for the enemy I think (because he can see them).

  • @nooblet911 Well he is shooting a .45 and it only goes about 760 feet per second, where the 5.56 (M16 ammo) go about 2,800 feet per second so the tracer wont look quite as cool as it does on the slower .45

  • star wars, lolz

  • i love tracers. imagine shooting them out of a 4 foot long machine gun (M240B) at around 900 rounds per minute (if my gun is clean). that's my job. be jealous.

  • @ArmyElevenBravo I think only someone foolish who doesnt know how shitty it is to hump around a machine gun, get shot at, blown up, maimed, bake in the desert, and all the other shit, would be jealous of your job.

But at least you enjoy it. Personally I enjoy not doing all that, sitting in an air conditioned home, drinking beer, and not humping around gear in the broiling heat.

    Fuck the middle east

  • @ArmyElevenBravo the free ammo is making me a lot jealous, also the M24o but i prefer the M60.

  • @christlubas m60 is lighter but less reliable
