  • is it real the Koala and Kangaroo on it xD it love it !!

  • i liked this show since i was a kid,

this show had 9 seasons, why only season one is on DVD???

why there is no fan sites or sites on the show???

please tell me,if there is a reason for all this???

    if u are the fans,help needed,thank u.

  • Oh wow, Patrick Duffy and Anthony Andrews, I'm in retro paradise. Does anyone have this 2-part episode to put up on Youtube?

  • Holy crap when did Bernie Kopell become the ships Schiffsarzt.?

  • @VLNevada if you read the description, this is the german version

  • What was really cool about shows like Love Boat and Fantasy Island was that stars from different NETWORKS would guest star. CBS' Patrick Duffy (Dallas) and Harry Morgan (M*A*S*H) and NBC's the great Jose Ferrer (Another World) all on an ABC show. Nowadays, you truly can't pull that off. Oh, yeah, let's have MTV's Snooki on Bravo's Real Housewives of _______! Doesn't have the same magic or class does it?

  • Is the Michelle Phillips of The Mamas and the Papas?

  • HOLY SHIT!! Elizabeth the Koala and Tiny the Kangaroo are on 'The Boat this week!!!

  • indeed this was one the best episode!

  • This is so great.

  • Greatest Love Boat Roll Call Ever!

Col. Potter, Bobby Ewing, Jessica Tate (Helmond's role on "Soap", which was big then), Cindy from 3s Company (future infomercial queen Harrison.), Michelle Phillips, a koala and a kangeroo.

Early 80's TV royaly right there, freinds!

  • What a wonderfull great nice american good old time sound and

show! The soundtrack is one of the best ever composed!

    Sophisticated!!

  • OMG .... DELVENE DELANEY! From Hoges and Sale of the Century to The Love Boat, luv. I did the biggest double take then!!!!!!!

  • Youtube is fantastic - THANKS - for - The Loveboat - presentation [ThemeLover] ,

PLEASE visit my site : write in google : forumplus

    see . . . h t t p forumplus.mysite(dot com) com

  • Katherine Helmond, a koala bear and a kangaroo: great stuff...

  • Alphabetical order or not, it must suck to get billed lower than a lazy bear and an overgrown rat.

  • The cast photos are from one of the Love Boat movies before the series and someone else said it before me but...

    ... I LOVE LAUREN!!!

  • Thank you very much! We'll be here all week! Try the veal!

  • in reality its the fuck boat.....love dont mean shit

  • HAHAHAHA. I love how the koala and the kangaroo are credited!

One of the best TV theme songs, EVER.

  • i wanna go down on Captain Stubing :)

  • LoL love this german version.. LoL... 11:seconds " Elizabeth the Koala" and 23:seconds " Tiny the Kangaroo".... LoL. And Juli still looking so damn fine !... Lmao

  • I remember watching the Love Boat (and Fantasy Island) on a regular basis every Sat. night back in the early-mid 1980s when it still was originally on the air. There was and is something so SOOTHING about the opening theme as well as each and every episode. Entertaining too. Saturday nights are just not the same these days without The Love Boat (and Fantasy Island) airing on its usual channel (ABC) in its usual time slot (Love Boat: 9pm est, Fantasy Island: 10pm est). Its a crying shame, really.

  • Does Michelle Phillips age? Because she was on the 1998 Love Boat looking just the same?

  • This is very very good old entertainment music--americas best times:)

Sophisticated by the way the vocals and the sound of this theme--a little bit like las vegas and sinatra

  • Harry Morgan, Donna Dixon, a kanagroo and a koala, holy %%%%, what an episode ! The Love Boat, indeed.

  • This was probably the week Charles was made CO on M*A*S*H.

  • It must be really big when Bobby Ewing, Col. Potter, Mona, a kangaroo, and a koala get together on the same boat.

  • @palmercomm and cindy snow from 3's company!

  • lOve Boat remix version 97 there is

  • the loooooooooooooooooove boat

  • LOOOOOOOVE! exciting and new!!!!!!!!! :)

  • This show is where new stars are made and old stars are returned to their former glory. It's bizarre to see Mona, Bobby and Col. Potter on the same boat, though.

  • I LUV THE LOVE BOAT!!!!!!!! :) :) :)

  • Ted Lange seems to be loosing his grip - only one finger pointing to the camera in this version... ;-)

  • I LOVE LAUREN!!!!! :)

  • I don't even know the theme songs to half the shows on T.V., now. I guess because...THEY DON'T MAKE THEME SONGS ANYMORE!!! I'm so glad I was growing up during this time. It's sad, but I think the best days of entertainment are behind us.

I loved this show. I loved this theme song. I loved the cast and most of all I loved television when people had talent and vision.

To echo another poster, peace upon you, Mr. Spelling and thank you.

  • yeah. theme songs suck now. i want to get these shows on DVD :)

  • Somebody get me the Love Boat on DVD for my birthday or something!!! Thanx! :)

  • ted lange is frickin awesome!

  • yuck

  • I love Gavin, Fred, and Julie the best! This is my fave show of all time!!!!!!! :)

  • I vaguely remember this episode but I need help. Did Elizabeth the Koala get a one night stand with Harry Morgan or Jose Ferrar? And, if I remember correctly, Tiny the Kangaroo was wooed into the sack by Jennilee Harrison.

  • Wow - Elizabeth the Koala, Jenilee Harrison, and Patrick Duffy! What great big gigantic stars!

  • don't forget Tiny, the Kangaroo!

  • Some needs to put all the intros form every season on so we know what season is what.

  • Bella questa serie di telefilm

    Mi piaceva molto

  • I would have loved to have seen the look on Oscar-winner Jose Ferrer's face when his agent informed him he'd be doing a guest spot on The Love Boat and he'd be billed AFTER Elizabeth, the Koala.

  • Jose must have needed the money pretty badly to accept billing after Elizabeth the Koala.

Some other putz was billed after a frickin Kangaroo.lol

  • It was alphabetical order, that's the only possible explanation.

  • That's exactly why. "The Love Boat" always billed their guest stars in alphabetical order. In any respect, nobody held a gun to their head to take a guest spot on the show. Maybe they did it because they actually enjoyed their work!

  • Either that or they needed to take a break and/or promote their other shows. I believe "Dallas", "Dynasty", and "M*A*S*H" all benefitted from their respective stars' appearances on this show.

  • Oh my god...in this opener...Julie is hot?

  • Julie "your Cruise Ship Drug Connection"

    would have been more appropriate.

    She was a hottie. :-)

  • This is the episode where Julie goes to Australia to marry Anthony Andrews, who dumps her at the altar. Earlier in the series, she went to Alaska to accept the proposal of a man who had proposed to her earlier in the series, only to find out he was married.

Julie had the worst luck in love.

  • Blame it on all the coke she was doing!

  • i had a lesbian crush on julie too

  • Elizabeth the Koala was a guest star, WTF??

  • Col Potter on here too! Wow what an episode.

  • Julie now works in the cheese department of the QFC in Seattle, where I shop! Woo hoo!!!

  • Was the Doc's name on this version Ziegfied?

  • Looks like a weak episode with a mostly weak cast, though Donna Dixon sure was hot back then!

  • Were Elizabeth the Koala and Harry Morgan ever together on an episode of MASH?

  • No.

  • I had a lesbian crush on julie !!

  • I love Lauren! She's so cute!

  • I remember watching this when I was a kid.

  • I like Lauren's Dorthy Hamill haircut...

  • God, Lauren, You're GORGEOUS!

  • My favorite episodes were any episodes that Lauren Tewes got to do a lot. She was really cute.

  • The guest stars in this episode were better.

  • Wow! What a week on the Love Boat...Elizabeth the Koala AND Tiny the Kangaroo...and Patrick Duffy? OK - who knows which one the Koala hooked up with - Patrick Duffy or Patrick Ward? My money is on the Duffle-bag...

  • This series sucked! It was cancelled here after only 29 eps. Later on, it continued WELL after it had finished. No wonder. It was used as a time filler at 3 a.m.

  • Very interesting seeing the German credits, which used edits from the 1977 season mixed in with later shots that seem unique—certainly not what we saw in Anglo countries. But I remember this, complete with Patrick Duffy trying to do a New Zealand accent (playing a Taranaki farmer!).

  • tiny is funny !

  • Wtf? Koala and Kangaroo?

  • I hated that fucking daughter. She was annoying as hell.

  • Yeah, I know. The actress was TERRIBLE too!

  • I remember when it was later revealed the ''Mermaid's'' were actually young Spanish guys in drag! It sounds like a joke, I know, but it's apparently very true.

  • The original! I hated during the final two seasons when Dionne Warwick started singing the theme and having those mermaids in the credits, too.

  • Fabulous, I remember this was from a special two-part episode where the boat went to Sydney (hence the koala and kangaroo). So kitsch!

  • And how did this involve the big name stars (Evans, Duffy, Helmond, and Morgan)?

  • sugar sweet and sickening

but ya had to love it!
