What's the point of these huge keyboards? I mean, it's just so funny watching the guy explain DSP like it's a big thing. LOL! My Korg M50 can do pretty much everything this keyboard can do. The only difference is that Tyros 3 costs like 3400€ and M50 880€. They are putting a huge price tag for these preinstalled styles. Please take some time to think what you really need a synth to do for you. Do you want it to provide the SYNTHesisized sounds for you or do you want it to play for you? LOL!

@Samixelo the Tyros models are Home keyboards, completely different to the purpose of a workstation/synth which is what the M50 is. The sounds are so much more realistic on the tyros though than the m50. If you play a scale using the Clarinet sound on tyros 3 then find the equivalent on ur m50 you'l notice the difference in quality and then realize the difference in price. That goes for hundreds of sounds. and thats YOU playing the keyboard not the keyboard doing everything for you.

There is just nothing better then the ty3 in the market.. I acctually bought me a nord electro 3.. :) And hopefully it closes my set.. now I have a motif xs6 nord elec 3 moog lp 2 special and korg microkorg inverse keys.. not to tell the tons of soft synths on my laptop.. IF YOU ARE A ONE MAN BAND.. GO FOR TYROS 3 MAN.. good luck.. and go ebay.. lol way cheaper.. that's how I could get all my gear would never be able to buy it on any store the way I did.

Don't fool yourself with the m3 "xpanded" what you got on the xpand update is a few more sounds emulated in the original board and some operational features.. but in order to get the sounds you have to them buy a memory card for around 200 plus bucks.. suxxs big time just got rid of mine.. and bought a fantom g.. but now I want this baby.. :) technology suxxs I feel like it's never gonna be enough.

@bshumzz OAYSYS is a discontinued orphan synth whose idea never really caught on. Owners keep dumping them for $4,500 and less on eBay. Good luck trying to sell one. I sure wouldn't want to be stuck with that problem.

you, if i had to choose between this keyboard and pamela anderson i would say, this keyboard as well. and the point i was trying to make was, this, if you have a decent computer already, get a good interface em-1616- digibox-fireface etc get omnisphere , supreme drummer, sonar 8 rokit 8 monitors, and any other synth you like, and i bet you you can do much more music with it than with this, and it will sound better trust me.

i may agree with you some what. I am a loooong time sonar user and love it but, like I tell everybody. If you are a good keyboard player or producer you can make anything sounds decent. Its a matter of what you are comfortable with. Some people like the all hands on without flipping thru different plug ins. Then some people like to have lots and lots of plug ins to abuse.

i found it for 3149 euro... i don't know where did u see it for 4k.. yeah i think for 4 k it's a little to mutch.. but in my opinion it's a fantastic keyboard... listen to the sounds :|.. at 7:10 listen to the film soundtrack... (sorry for my english, i'm on training) however, how can u get the sound 10 times better than this keyboard? :|

I have a CVP 270 and NEED an upgrade. I'm looking at either a Yamaha PSR S-900 or Tyros 3. The 207 has an internal flash memory and floppy disk. I'm confused about how these newer keyboards can retain songs you record. I'm looking for a large space for memory, and want to be able to record vocals too. I'd be grateful for any suggestions...

i've played the s900. quite good keys. excellent sax, voices. can save songs on usb.

tyros much more functions, sounds etc.. hence the hefty price.

I think TMAtritone meant (for example) the last bit on orchestral sound, were the staccato strings etc were actually in the Rhythm section, but the Demonstrator played "As IF" to make he was playing it - especially the last few seconds in the Demo. Nice board though. Got an OASYS myself mind....

The automatic rhythm buttons have Intros, Main sections and Endings, so yes, at the beginning and end he does not have to play anything, once the right key is set.

I actually own a Tyros 3 and had the Tyros 2 before it. There is a very real and significant difference. The sound quality of the T3 is amazing and worth the upgrade if you are serious about performing.
