I hope Food Network implodes with this stooopid 'cattle drive'. It's like forcing wine to mature. It bugs me to see smug marketing wonks crassly critcize contestants with their whiney, "You're not ready for Hollywood" crap. Food Network's idea that cooking is cut-throat competition is WAY out of hand. "The Next Food Network Star" is the WWF of cuisine, flashy, loud and devoid of substance. It's a food beauty contest for the 15 year old male demographic. Make it stop.
