Used to use until the album art went small, not to mention it's a random picture instead of what the album art is SUPPOSED to be as I put in the song file! It sucks big time! I may go back to Vista just to get WMP11 back!

i really hate windows media player 12!!! it sucks its not user friendly.. unlike the old one, i can easily adjust the bass and wow effect... but with this version, i can no longer adjust the bass and wow effect.... it really sucks!

@angelo18 use SRS effects, it's better than WOW, you can download that in utorrent.

to open the bass and wow in wmp12, just switch into now playing mode, point the cursor in skin, right click and that's it! choose enhancement, you can see there... hope it helps!

They had something so good then they bring this abomination out, dont get me wrong its not all bad but they removed so many key features its just not usable. If it wasnt locked to 64bit versons of windows 7 I would have nuked it by now, Its so annoying how it cant minimse to the task bar and when im flicking through my files I really dont want it flashing up in face everytime I double click my music it does my head in.

Does someone has a setup for me? I need to re-install it, because I have some problems with it. On Vista it worked fine without any problems, but since Windows 7 appeared on my computer, it's been glitching.

Windows said honestly that your computer may be some less good after your Windows 7-update. Next time, look for the bugs and bad things first, Microsoft.

Windows Media Player 12 is for Win 7 only. There is no set-up. Go to the searchbox, type in Turn Windows features on or off and enter. Scroll down and un-check Windows Media Player and accept w.e. they ask. Restart, then go back and re-check media player. Restart and you should be good. I always reccomend a fresh install over upgrade.

Thanks for helping, but I tried this before and there was no solution how I could repair it. Lucky that I had Windows Media Center which plays music, video's and shows pictures. I agree with other people that Media Player 12 is a failure which needs a lot of fixes to make it atleast a stable program. For so long, I use Media Center which also works fine to me.
